★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go to Coquitlam Cap-It instead - this location has the worst customer experience I can imagine.
I called them saying I needed parts for my canopy ordered in, and they told me I had to email pictures. Every time I would email them I wouldn’t receive a response for over a week, then I would call the store and be told I would get a response that day and would go another week without a response.
After months of trying to order my parts (I even had the part number is ready to go) I finally decided to give Coquitlam a call.
Tyler quickly have an invoice ready for me. Doug then finalize the transaction and ordered the parts.
It’s nice at the Coquitlam location that they put their names on their emails, because the Richmond location doesn’t use names and emails so it’s very hard to follow up with who was helping you regarding their issue.
Also the Richmond people were very rude on the phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and customer service. Second truck I have had done here. Both with taunneau covers. Leveling kit, light bars, tires and rims. Good prices and always have a great selection. The guy at front is a wealth of info, I think his name is Bawa. I would highly recommend them.

The owner Bawa is a waste of time as I had a warranty claim on my backflip cover and he did not show any interest in my claim for the first 2 or 3 times I went to his location to ask him about my warranty claim after the 3rd or fourth time I went to Richmond cap it store he started saying that the warranty doesn’t cover my claim as it clearly says on their website that lifetime warranty is covered and customer satisfaction is guaranteed I am not satisfied with the service Bawa has given us and he always tends to give us a higher price for every product we inquired about he tends to tell us 2 or 3 hundred dollars more from what the other cap it locations tell us. He lies to his customers and says he can’t provide original receipts of the products we have bought from him even though he clearly has them in his system. I don’t recommend the Richmond location please go to another cap it location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT GO THERE!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! We purchased a turck canopy from them. The people works their they don't know how to do their jobs at all. Cost us so much time and money to fix it. Ower is liar, don't trust a single word from his mouth. Workers are inexperieced. Lied to our face. When we fix the cap at other shops, there was nothing right under there. Don't go to Cap-it Richmond, better yet don't go to Cap-it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lazy guy at the front counter. Stood around for 10 minutes before he asked if I needed anything. Then wouldn't get up to come over to help me. Was ready to drop 700$ on a Thule cargo. Went to canadian tire where they were very knowledgeable and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just came back from a Add-a-Leaf install on my tacoma. The install was quick. Paid the bill, was told by the manager or owner that new u-bolts were installed since the factory ones where too short, and told me they wouldnt charge me for them. I thanked them for their generosity.
Got home, craweld under the truck to see all U-bolts where the original ones, too short and the nuts have -2 to -3 threads of the stud recessed .
Called them " hey, those arent new u bolts and they are way too short. They replied: Yeah, we didnt have anything in stock, you should go to burnaby to get new ones installed .
Good thing i crawled under to look.
