My husband and I adopted our first dog 2.5 months ago and signed up for the puppy program about a month ago. We have learned so many things that we never would have figured out on our own, and are confident that we will come out of this with a well-trained, socialized, lovely dog. It is leaps and bounds above what you would get out of a basic "puppy class" at a pet store. The entire staff at Canine Valley is lovely to deal with, and you can tell how deeply they care about the animals. We also boarded our puppy for a few nights when we both had to be out of town, and she was very well taken care of. When we dropped her off she was afraid to play with other dogs, and she was in the middle of the wrestling matches by the time we picked her up. The dogs get trained while they are boarded, which is a great perk.

A	Angela Robinson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My little beauty, Marlie, came to us with some very unexpected issues, issues beyond my capabilities. She has the sweetest heart but she was not house trained, leash trained and had some very severe aggression towards other dogs and was so skittish that walking her became a nightmare. Valley has literally saved her life and she is definitely worth saving! By the time we realized the extent of the behavior problems we were far too in love to turn back. Canine Valley has, over a very short time, helped Marlie play with other dogs, taught us how to better handle her, reduced her aggression (which I think turn out turned out to be more that she LOVES other dogs but had no idea how to interact with them, Valley fixed that too!), helped us figure out how to provide this high energy dog with the exercise she needs, helped us with equipment selection (trust me a good pulling harness and a bike go a long way for this girl) and is currently working with my kids on training therapies to help her be a well adjusted dog so she can have the life she deserves. I couldn't be more thankful for Valley and her team, if it wasn't for them this amazing little girl may not have made it, and even just the thought of that brings tears to my eyes because she is very sweet and so loving. Why do I recommend Canine Valley.. because they save lives and they save families. Valley's frank and loving approach tells you exactly what you need to do even if it is hard to hear, with a level of understanding that makes you feel a part of the team, a team trying to save a life.

The depth of Valley's skills, knowledge and great respect and love of dogs is unsurpassed - her work with my dogs has been life changing and her insight has helped me become a better leader. Without hesitation, I would completely recommend Canine Valley!! *Update* Just had the opportunity to use their grooming services, twice for two different dogs, and absolutely thrilled with the results! One dog rolled in something and they immediately took us in and took care of him....and he smelled great for days!! The second dog was a huge Bernese that came to us ill groomed and matted and after what must have been a TON of work, he came out looking like a superstar!! Can't recommend Canine Valley enough, they are always wanting to do their best for you and your pets and go that extra mile.

She was poorly socialized with other dogs during her crucial stages of learning along with being tied up most of her life. Canine Valley was recommended to us by the rescue organization and we couldn't be any more pleased. We had an assessment with Carl to understand Ivy's needs and her reactivity and together they came up with a training plan. Ivy worked closely with Max, who she now adores, she loved coming to the training centre and always left smiling. We also got to work closely with Valley having one on one training weekly where she showed us how to be real dog owners. We cant thank everyone at the centre enough for training us to understand our dog and training Ivy to be a dog. We now have the skills and knowledge to keep training Ivy and give her the best life Squamish has to offer. We will be highly recommending Canine Valley to all of our fellow dog parents! Thank you! His knowledge of what my dog was doing and why was exceptional and most importantly accurate! After 12 days I got my dog back and Carl coached me through every step. You guys do amazing work and I very much looking forward to working further with you… so my dog doesn’t decide to go walkabout again!
L	Lianne Burrell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have taken our 7 month old puppy Kiba to Canine Valley since she was 2 months old. We immediately were blown away from the knowledge from Karl & Valley. Kiba has been doing 1-1 lessons with Valley and I cannot imagine how raising Kiba would have been without the knowledge and guidance from Valley. They really dive into the fundamentals of training and the relationship between the dog and owner. Valley has also been so accommodating with our dog, catering the training to what Kiba needs to work on specifically. It is absolutely worth the investment and I recommend Canine Valley to anyone who has a dog.
