I set up Canine Blueprint Training in 2015 to offer people and their pets a positive method of training. CanineBlueprint Training is a fully certified business, and I also regularly consult with local veterinarians to make sure that my methods and nutritional and medical advice are 100% up to date and correct. We take your pet’s health and well-being as seriously as humanly possible!

Canine Blueprint Training believes that owning a pet is an amazing and rewarding experience, but also a responsibility, not a luxury. Training your pet properly will lead you to a greater understanding of the animal, and I firmly believe in the owner-pet relationship being one of mutual understanding and respect. I immerse you fully in the training process, and with this positive approach, I find that owners end up learning as much, if not more, than their pets. I have learned so much from and so have our dogs we now have a calmer house and a better relationship with our dogs! I am so excited to finally be able to walk both dogs on my own and have the ability to get things done when my husband isn't home. They are also always willing to answer any question we have even after we were done the program thank you guys so much.

Before coming to Jenna, I had tried multiple trainers with little success. In 6 weeks Jenna correctly identified the problem and created specialized training sessions to work on his reactivity. He has come along way in that time period, he is now able to greet dog appropriately on leash. I am so impressed! Jenna is knowledgeable, resourceful and passionate, and. When we adopted him at four years old, it seemed like he could come up with a new obstacle every day to him leading his best life. Off leash? Zero recall. On leash? Super reactive. Play in the back yard? Can (and did) hop the fence. Play in the house? Had a meltdown every time someone walked by the window. We sent him to Canine Blueprint's board and train as a hail Mary, and felt bad for sending such a high needs dog. Jenna and Eric made him a part of their family over his stay, and built his confidence up. They worked with his anxiety, and their calm energy rubbed off on him. They were also very receptive to and patient with my overbearing concerns. Our guy still has work to do, but he's currently sitting in the sunshine under a window we used to have to cover, and I'd call that real progress.

I messaged Jenna super late one night, feeling super defeated after my dogs scheduled training elsewhere was cancelled many times during Covid. She replied immediately and we went for a consultation a few days later. Hudson just came home from spending weeks with Jenna and Eric and he has come SO FAR. He is less reactive, more independent, confident, and calm. HIGHLY recommend! Is it easy to leave your dog for 4 weeks? No. But worth it. Thank you Jenna, Eric, and all the lovely staff who cared for my boy and helped/are still helping him be his best self!

I cant even quantify how much has changed in this business and how much working here has caused me to learn and evolve. The company itself has evolved even more in that time. I consult with Jenna constantly still, especially when I have a problem and the more I learn the more impressed I am by her knowledge and understanding of dogs. Now we have a whole team of people who truly, truly care for each dog who comes through our doors and are passionate about bringing harmony to the human canine relationship through education, expression and understanding. This is my life, so no I am not a client and this is not a review of Canine Blueprint services, but let me tell you...when you come here, we will do everything we can to bring your life with your dog back into balance. Original post: Working with Jenna has been amazing, I've always considered myself to be good with dogs but the level of behavioural understanding and practical skill she has is that of a true professional. Seeing how she manages and over time transforms issues that many dog owners think & are told they just have to "deal with" is amazing and I've learned so much from her over such a short time. If you have a dog (especially if you are thinking of getting one) you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by working with her, even if it's just for daycare your dog and your relationship with your dog will be better off for it!!
