★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As we waited outside (currently they're allowing one party in at a time), a person walking by commented that there is always a lineup when they pass Canelo's. There's good reason - everything is so dang tasty and the tacos are huge! While you'll find things are a little more expensive than going to a fast-food place, it is well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m giving Canelo’s Ice cream a 4 star because the staff weren’t welcoming. But the ice cream is bomb I highly recommend the chunky cheesecake taco! This is probably gonna be my go to ice cream shop. It’s a very clean location. I just wish the staff were friendly and didn’t seem like we were a burden for getting ice cream. 5/5 stars would’ve been added. I won’t be judging this place on the staff. I will definitely come back just hope the customer service improves. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to check out our new neighborhood ice cream shop. Was very hip inside, and had a really good vibe. Their treats tasted as good as they look. Tried the "Ice Cream Nachos", super delicious. The "Cookie Monster Taco" was good as well. Would have been 5/5 but the scoops could have been a little bigger for the price. Will go back though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here half a dozen times already and tried other places. They have a wonderful ice cream with a unique taste. The scents of cardamom and Earl Gray are my favorites. They have about 8-12 regular options and generally have some special flavors they add to the menu.
It is usually a very crowded place with no seats inside and outside. The waffle ball is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for the first time today to try the vegan soft serve ice cream. Ordered chocolate and the look and taste was awful. Chocolate tasted exactly the same as the coconut (which didn’t taste great either) serving size was poor and very watery. Waste of money and will not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a gem! Kids under 2 and dogs eat free. The servings are generous, the staff are friendly, and the flavours are plentiful. My dumb boyfriend even got the vegan ice cream and it was super tasty, tasted like real dairy cream.
Most of the kids ordered the tacos, which were HuGE! More than the kids could eat.
Lots of fun toppings, like the usual but also some fun ones like churros and twinkies.
Add this one to your summer short list. Family friendly, good for date night, great for girls night.
