B	Brad Conroy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They tell you hour and half for you're car, add an hour and half. They say your next in line, youre 3rd. Not my first bad experience here but it is my last. I should also add that I asked if they were backed up and can I expect delays. I was answered.... their catching up, it'll be an hour and a half. I could have been picked up and gone home had they been honest.... No regard for other people's time.

So they now asked me to wait, as no one is available on the floor and will call me later to come and pick up my tires stored with them. Rude and unprofessional staff at auto center, no manners to talk and lack empathy. Wish co took time to train staff on customer engagement and politeness. For every review, they have standard response asking reviewer to call customer care. Why don’t you instead apologize and fix the issues, stop wasting customers time and act to save your reputation

M	Mookle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe in giving credit where it's due. After my terrible experience at Canadian Tire Ajax, I decided to try the Pickering location and it is completely night and day. The Pickering location is amazing with great friendly staff who gave me all the information right away. For the first time ever, I wasn't surprised with additional costs or extra work needed to be done. They were very upfront with everything. I will definitely be going to this location again. Can't recommend them enough.
K	Kevin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Watch out for the driveway!!! If you happen to go in via the main driveway from the Walmart across the street, SLOW DOWN unless you want to damage your front end. This is a good store, BIG with a better than average snack bar - trailer outside. Gas station, car wash and electric charging stations too. Like I said, BIG. Brock Road just north of the 401 is another way to look at it.
J	Jon M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed and offended! My wife and I visited this location for the first time and had our 6 month old baby with us. As such we had a stroller and baby bag with us. We recently moved into the neighborhood so we walked around the store exploring and were enjoying our shopping experience until it was time to cash out. We brought our full cart of items to self checkout, the attendee asked my wife to open up her baby bag for inspection. We were in shock and asked her in disbelief "you want to search our baby bag?" She told us it was store policy and that they had a sign at the front of the store about it. I asked to speak with the manager as I have been shopping at Canadian Tire for over 30 years and have never had my bag searched. The manager repeated it was store policy and that I could call their 1-800 customer service line if I had a complaint. As a person of colour I couldn't help but wonder if this location truly (without fail) stuck to their policy of checking everyone's bag all the time. If so, it would still be a messed up and outdated policy but at least it would be equal and fair for all. OR is it up to the employee/managers' discretion who they reserved the right to check? I honestly really wish I didn't have to ask these types of questions in 2022. I share this experience in hope that this location reconsiders this policy as the potential for the occasional shop lifting (noting you also have security cameras and security staff to prevent this type of thing) shouldn't outweigh losing loyal customers and impacting the brand of a cherished and trusted Canadian retail establishment. Especially when Walmart is right across the street and doesn't do this.
R	Ryan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very dissatisfied with my shopping experience today, and if I could give a 0 star rating I would. Been here many times and never had an issue apart from either being understaffed, or the lack of bike racks to lock bikes. I came in today to get some oil and a filter, when I enter with my bag I was told I’d have to leave it at the front. If the store has such policies, it should be written in large clear font, that they do not allow customers with bags; yet they purposefully make the sign minuscule and out of sight. I continued shopping regardless of this ‘policy’, with my bag on since that’s a personal and valuable item. When I went to cash my items out; I had a worker stare over me whilst scanning my items, so much for ‘self’ checkout, might as well do it for me if you can’t trust customers… Furthermore, when I was scanning my items the worker had asked to look into my bag which I found disrespectful, not only because of privacy but for their clear lack of customer trust. I then asked who’d be responsible had my belongings got damaged, stolen, or lost, and she began confronting me with an unclear answer, so I bet they wouldn’t be liable for any and all lost/damaged belongings. If they think customers would steal some oil and a filter, who’s to say the workers wouldn’t peek in your bag and take an item or damage your property… regardless of cameras. who’s liable then..? Anyhow, you won’t be getting recommendations from me anymore, I’d even advise you to steer clear and shop elsewhere! Support a local business instead like you would a family.
