Staff are rude. Store is barricaded with extra " makeshift" isles that prevent movement amongst actual isles. Not a positive shopping experience. Product wrongly advertised causing inconvenience. Not worth even a star

Jan. 4/22 I ordered $400 worth of household goods to see me through while I recover from major surgery. Their delivery guy didn't bother to buzz or knock. He dumped my stuff at the post office. I don't even know anyone with a truck, so could not retrieve my things. I need this stuff desperately: stackable pine crates I could arrange easily around my bed, toilet paper, towels, etc. Their website promised I would be contacted with a delivery window. You know, like businesses that value customers. I did not receive any notice. I called the online depot, which is at the Grant Park store. The manager Phoenix insisted he had sent me an email. I asked him to please look that up and tell me the delivery window I had missed. He got nervous and snippy. He of course couldn't find it. I asked him to take responsibility for getting this large order to my home. He got snippier and said it was out of his hands. No apology, no remorse, useless. I called owner Dave Guitard's office, and spoke with Kay-leen. She responded like Phoenix. Didn't care, didn't want to help. I explained I am severely disabled and have no way to retrieve these crucial items. She said sarcastically, "Well, I'm not going to WALK it over to you!" I found out I have the basis for a Human Rights complaint against this store for her remark and behavior. She withheld my paid order while mocking my disability. I spent over an hour on the phone with Canada Post, and they finally arranged for someone to deliver to me. Why use a service you know doesn't deliver to customers' doors? The post office clerks told me it happens all the time now. Carriers don't even bother to buzz or knock. They likely don't take deliveries off the truck, just dump them at the PO, even when you've paid for expedited delivery. Canadian Tire's attitude was sickening.

This store consistently shows items in stock but they aren't available when you actually try to purchase them. It's in the back but not unloaded is a frequent response. Definitely not going back.

A bit of a confusing store. The shelving is so high it is impossible to see the various department signs, which are mounted on the ceiling. I had to walk Galway into the store before I finally found the sign for the automotive section. The automotive parts section seem to be somewhat smaller than the other Canadian Tire stores I have visited. The store is attached to Grant Park Shopping Centre. There is an entrance with two cashier stations that customers can use directly to and from the rest of the shopping mall. Hint: If you enter the store from the main parking lot entrance the Automotive section is in the very back of the store in the left-hand corner.

If I could give the auto shop a rating of 0 to negative stars, I would have in a heartbeat. Appaling is certainly an understatement. They returned my car to me with a new tire, but insisted that I can still use the dented rim (from a pothole)it came with, claiming it was still "usable" so I paid whatever amount was due and went on my merry way. Well in less than 1 week, I had to come back to the store because the tire attached on that dented rim was flat. Not to mention, they made me come back later in the afternoon saying it will be installed. So, I returned and waited 1.5 hours, only to be told that they could not do it that day. Oh, and the dented rim? they finally decided to replace it, but it was apparently "not on their notes that it was dented the first time I brought it". I had enough, ended up paying then leaving with the tire and new rim. I decided to ask someone else to install them for me, because I could not stomach the fact that I will have to go back again after all the runaround I dealt with. Paying for someone's time and services has never been an issue. But dealing with other people's lack of accountability and respect for my time is something I will not tolerate nor wish for anyone to deal with. I was very satisfied when I purchased my first set of winter tires from them in the latter part of 2021, yet I might have spoken way too soon.

Dropped off my car as the Oil Light was coming on when idling. Mentioned this to the person that took my keys at the counter. When I returned later in the day they had replaced two O2 sensors which didn't need to be replaced because the person that was taking the notes said that the engine light was turning on and not the oil light. Two separate lights. The engine light wasn't even on in the first place when I dropped the car off. Only the Oil Light was. I paid $435 for this and the issue is not fixed. They replaced parts that didn't need replacing and charged for it.

I have visited this store quite a few times looking for a variety of items. I find the shelves well stocked, staff easy to find when needing assistance and overall friendly and helpful. Their products are of good quality and fairly priced. The Grant Park location is a large store and during the height of the pandemic I shopped online and used the pick up lockers. Worked well. As the store is so spacious I didn't feel unsafe when in the store. Checkout is efficient and the clerks friendly. Finally the parking lot is large and usually no problem finding a spot close to the door., I have never had a negative experience and highly recommend this store.

Edit. The location has improved security and I wasn’t bothered this trip. Which made my experience great. This location use to be nice and close. I find too many security guards I was looking for plumbing and at one point two guards were watching me. I felt like they were bored the store was empty and needed to do work. However it made me never want to return. I think security is necessary but you should never feel followed. I was a long time customer now I go elsewhere. Easy to click and pick up though.
