A depressing shopping experience at this Canadian Tire. Much of the merchandise is in locked cages. Even cheap items, like the $10 dollar alarm clock I wanted to buy, are all locked up. So you have to find a sales associate to open up the cage. Then the associate takes the cheap item to the cashier, and won't let you touch it until you've finished shopping and are ready to pay. Meanwhile, there are closed circuit cameras and warning signs about shoplifting everywhere. The store manager clearly believes everyone who walks in the store is a potential shoplifter. So sad. In addition, there's no express check-out and the aisles are all cluttered up like a flea market. Definitely not an enjoyable place to browse and shop. Get in and get out quickly -- sorry, but that's my advice for shopping at this store.

Had a flat tire. Because I had bought the tires there they fixed it for free. Technician noticed my tire stem was leaking as well and fixed that too. But the best thing was they washed my car. It looked great. Thanks.

I will never shop at this store again! I have been shopping and spending my hard earned money here for years, no more!! This store makes you leave your bag when you go in and I do not feel comfortable doing that. And the thing is it’s not everyone they asked to leave there bags they pick and choose who has to leave there bag. It’s like being accused that your going to be a theft!! There are plenty of other stores in the area that you can get the same stuff that is sold there and there are other Canadian Tire Stores that do not make you leave your bag. If they don’t want my business then I will take it elsewhere! As far as I’m concerned this bad business. I give this store zero stars not the one that I had to give. I’m sure my comment will have no effect on changing this policy but even if the policy did change I’m doubtful I would shop here ever again.

Wife is an avid gardener and decided to take a trip to this location to pick up some supplies. A sales associate snuck up on her and awkwardly quizzed her on what she was buying and why. After humoring her for a bit, my wife eventually got annoyed and asked directly what she was being approached for, as she felt things were starting to get intrusive. Sales associate switches gears and starts pitching promotions and credit cards. After the encounter, wife calls me and tells me she felt like she was being monitored like she was a thief. I assumed it was simply bad customer service, however, some reviews allude to similar encounters by staff. I am now under the impression that staff have been poorly trained/coached and policies for loss prevention are poorly implemented/executed by a toxic, insecure management team that filters down to staff on the sales floor. I get that it kinda sucks to work retail but dude: if you are paid to do a job, do it well or work somewhere else. I hate shopping so don't make it more unpleasant than it already is. We will not be returning to this particular location.

No complaints at all. The store is well organized to keep the flow of foot traffic going in one direction, and it isn’t too crowded. There is a fair amount of parking in their well-maintained parking lot. I was able to get in and out of the store in a reasonable amount of time. I would have liked to see more staff on the sales floor to assist with questions from customers.

Went in to get some of the appetite specialist to find that they were all sold out on day two. Could only get one of the four items we went in for. Staff looked tired didn't want to answer any questions except for one person who is very nice and very informative and let us know that do the to the pandemic that not everything came in on time so some of the items that were not sent to them in time for the sale. Overall store was a little cramped and kind of messy they were still unloading stock during the day. Getting around is a bit difficult because of the stock in the aisles. So I can't say it was a great experience or a bad experience just a neutral one. Better luck next time .

I have been here a couple times and I found the inventory to be decent on most products. Some items are pricey, best wait for sales sometimes. Hard to locate staff on the floor for assistance though. My biggest issue is the cash registers. There is always a huge lineup of customers waiting to cash out but only 1 or 2 staff members working the registers. They call for back up and it still takes forever for 1 or 2 other staff members to come up to assist at the registers. This is not a one time thing, this happened 3 different times when I went. They need more staff to respond right away when a call is put in for more cash registers to be open, like you can see a lot of staff walking around near the front cash register not doing anything but totally ignoring the growing lineup and restless customers.

Nice store. Given excellent service by sales representative Angelo. He was nice, polite, friendly and knew about products and services we were looking for. Overall, always got what I look for with a helpful staff.
