★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In December 2019, I went for a routine Mammogram. The Medical Imaging Centre found something that led to a biopsy. This led to a Lumpectomy. I had the Breast surgery the end of February. Following, the surgery, I had 16 Radiation treatments. I am blessed because I am now cancer free. The volunteer from the Canadian Society was so helpful and provided an educational experience. She shared her experience in a classroom of Breast cancer patients prior to their surgeries. My entire process was handled with love, kindness and respect from North York General and Sunnybrook Hospital (including the Odette Centre.) A huge thank you to the Front line workers, Nurses and Doctors. I am eternally thankful.
