I usually wouldn't say anything about a government run agency but this is an exception.Beautiful older lady working there made my day. Didn't catch her name but she should be given a raise.

Sadly I can't go lower than a 1: I've recently moved to sidney and ship a lot of items for my small online store. I'd only been in to this location twice, both experiences were terrible, as I dealt with the same terrible employee both times. My first visit I waited almost an hour in line. This was an expected part of the visit as it was just before Christmas during Covid. However, the customer before me was dealing with said employee. When there was a conflict the customer blew up and demanded a manager. I took this as just a rude customer at the time. When it was my turn I learned there was a change with customs through Canada post. The older employee who'd just been yelled at was slightly short with me at the time, but I thought that was just a result of the moments prior My second visit had a wait for about 20 minutes post, christmas, which isn't too bad. However, to avoid issues with Canada posts new customs rules, I registered the packages on the Canada post website ahead of time, and put the QR codes on my phone. While waiting in line, I finally got up to the front, invited to the counter to start my transaction, when a customer who'd been in the store earlier, interrupted my transaction as the Canada post truck had just arrived. The older employee invited the other customer in front of me, grabbed a parcel and handed it to the other customer, only to be stopped by another employee who had to correct this exchange as the older employee handed the customer the wrong package without even double checking! She then looked through the packages again, and couldn't find the actual package and told the customer to wait more. Turning back to my transaction, the younger employee started inputting my package, but wanted to know the value of the goods inside. I wasn't sure and when I provided them with the DR code of the pre-filled out customs forms, they still needed to know the value I declared when I was at home earlier on the Canada post site. This is a technical error, and I was confused by it as the website stated nothing of the sort. When I began to ask questions the older employee stepped over the younger one to tell me "You always do this when you come in." which offended me as I'd only been in once before, and made what I thought were the correct actions to prevent a hold up in a slow moving line by having my customs forms prefilled out. She raised her voice with me, trying to identify me as a repeat problem customer, but I've only been there twice. I was quite off put by this, because of a personal attack, but it also wasn't a positive effort to solving my problem. With only two visits, I've seen 3 dissatisfied and all were with that one employee. I won't be returning as long as she still works there.

I met the devil today. She works at Canada Post on 7th in Sidney in the form of a skeletal older woman with hair like black straw and badly drawn on eyebrows. As one would expect of the devil, she has a foul disposition and derives deep enjoyment from doing all she can to ensure customers don't get what they come in for. Given that Canada Post doesn't seem to pay any attention to these reviews, she will most likely stay for eternity, gleefully inflicting misery on all who are unfortunate enough to end up across the counter from her.

I am so sorry to share this review because some amazing people work here, but I have just experienced the behaviour of Lynn, a manager. She literally yelled at me because I came in with five boxes, 30 minutes before closing (and yes their advertised hours of operation were incorrect, as noted below). It took less than 10 minutes to process, but the entire time she berated me. She also didn’t use my Solutions card, making my purchase much more expensive. I feel for her coworkers.

Answered the phone to give me the info regarding opening a PO box, then sure enough after waiting in line for over half an hour get to the till to find out they don't have any. Absolute garbage system
