Love this location. Always amazing service!

I have lived in this area since 1995 and I am a small business owner. In the past few years, there has been a change over of staff and management/ owners and service in the postal office has become horrendous. I can not tell you how many times I have gone in and the person behind the counter is rude to a customer telling them to call the 1800 if they have a concern. The staff does NOT do anything they can and should do according to Canada post guidelines. I have gone there to pick up a parcel when I have had a "left card" only to be told that its not here, "not going to look through everything as its not sorted" (Christmas time) OR being told that they can't supply me with a label when Canada Post specifically told me they could and should be doing so; only to go back after and make a second trip, as they didn't do it right the first time. I now find that I am double checking rates, etc via Canada Post's website, as I am not getting told correct information as far as delivery times, rates etc. I could go on and on. I finally had it today February 17th MONDAY, going here today to ship a parcel to a customer to Nova Scotia. Lo and behold they are CLOSED TODAY! Canada Post is is supposed to be OPEN TODAY!! This owner of this place seems to think he/she can make their own rules as far as Canada Post is concerned. Sorry that is not how it works. IN previous interactions, when I questioned them why they couldn't and wouldn't print of a label (Canada Post said they do that), the guy behind the counter actually said to me "if you don't like it you can go elsewhere?!!. When I asked to speak to the owner or who the owner is, he replied "none of your business". Well sorry it is my business, when you are representing a crown corporation. Hopefully this contract with Canada Post will be terminated, This business should have not been allowed to have the Post Office when it changed hands. Ridiculous.! Seriously people, check your stuff and rates, and what Canada Post does and Does not do. This business seems to do whatever they want. Today is just another reason, that confirms my opinion of them. Closed today (yes the post office and the Store) Today is Monday February 17th 2020. There is a note ( I took a pictures of it) on the door saying closed today, will resume tomorrow. Tuesday February 18th. UNACCEPTABLE
