Stayed for two nights and when returned to motel after a morning of sightseeing found ourselves locked out until 3 pm. There was no staff on site, no one answered phone or returned our urgent call. The one and only hotel staff returned exactly at 3 loaded down with her children and shopping. We paid for a room we could not access.

Rooms are clean. Staff edgy,maybe because of a lot of previous bad customer experience and I do not blame them. Overall staff is nice, breakfast is basic and sufficient. Good price. I recommend it to all

Floor was absolutely disgusting, beds were made but sheets weren’t washed. Hairs were found in the beds and gravel where feet had been. Had to be remade with hopefully clean sheets by us. Poor experience and poor front desk to customer engagement and service

In response to the "owner" of this Hotel (please see his UNPROFESSIONAL response below): When I called to INQUIRE about an early check-in, I did not "order" the hotel to do anything, I simply ASKED and was bombarded with abhorrent yelling, talking over me, belittling me and downright accusatory language which is when I asked him to stop talking over me so I could explain the reasoning behind my request (which he did not allow me to give). This phone call lasted 10 minutes, NOT half an hour and I was NOT degrading the "owner" in any way like he did to me. I'm absolutely NOT lying about what I heard the woman say in the office - if you don't want your guests overhearing what she said, DON'T discuss it in the reception area! It's hard to believe that this "owner" has a Post Graduate Degree with his lack of compassion for human beings, period. A person with such education in the HOSPITALITY industry, nonetheless, would certainly be more EMPATHETIC towards potential clients and business relations. Nowhere in my previous review did I judge this "owner's" linguistic capabilities - please do NOT twist my words and offer your own inadequate interpretation like you did with Expedia. I had NO intentions of arguing with the "owner" or the lady at the front, as I SPECIFICALLY stated when he heard my name and told me to go elsewhere. I also said I would leave the dogs in the room for MAXIMUM 30 minutes to go and get food after a 5 hour drive and this "owner" had said that his staff would still be allowed to enter the room. For the record, I've stayed at over 20 hotels with my dogs over the last 10 years and have NEVER had a complaint about noise or damage to the unit so this ASSUMPTION that my dogs would bark and "cause discomfort to their valued guests all night" is COMPLETELY UNFOUNDED. What harm exactly did I cause to your business by asking to use the washroom or by SITTING IN MY CAR outside of the hotel while dealing with Expedia? I did NOT make a scene whatsoever except to say that the customer service was of the utmost poorest quality I have EVER experienced (and I've worked in the hospitality industry and would NEVER treat a client like this). The statement about the 2 women checking in right in front of me was false? I wouldn't just make something up for the sake of it - it happened, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. If you don't want your dirty laundry aired in reviews, DON'T ACT LIKE THAT (it's quite simple). I did not "storm" in and out of the lobby over 3 hours - I walked in TWICE to ask to use a washroom where the response was "I don't have a washroom for you - go across the street". At that point, I simply ASKED if it was possible to use ANY washroom as I had been driving for 5 hours and he continued to refuse. I have NOT spent days "trying to ruin your life", I have been trying to RECTIFY the problem with Expedia due to this "owner's" ignorance, arrogance, belligerence and downright cruel and RUDE demeanor. Do us all a favour and go take some courses on how to ACTUALLY be hospitable to your guests or potential guests. Just because you PERSONALLY don't like someone and ASSUME the worst of them and their dogs, it gives you ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to treat someone this way, let alone run a BUSINESS which is meant to give superior customer service. I also forgot to mention that this "owner" then decided to harass me with a message through Expedia saying "please don't be rude" even though I had done NOTHING wrong, except for request to use a washroom and tell him I wasn't in the mood to argue with him. PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO RESPOND AND INSINUATE THAT I AM MERELY BEING MALICIOUS AND VENGEFUL. I wouldn't have written such a POOR review of your MOTEL had you NOT acted the way you did. Take responsibility and accountability for your actions. EVERY SINGLE negative review on here has VERY similar responses from the "owner" - blaming the potential guest instead of taking the onus. Absolutely despicable and atrocious!!!

We travel with 2 small non shedding dogs and were given a pet friendly room. Everything looked okay at first but after a closer look far from it. My wife dropped the tv remote down the back of the dresser. When we retrieved it we weredisgusrd to see the garbage down there. There were 2 glasses in the bathroom one of them with lipstick and both grungy. The toilet ran constantly and at some point broke. I had to remove the top of the cistern to flush. When we complained the next day we were met with a blank stare and told that she would tell the manager. Definitely not a repeater.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The hotel clerk was EXTREMELY unpleasant... we arrived 1/2 hour early, and although there were crickets in the lobby, she made us come back to the deserted lobby 30 minutes later. When asked to see the room, she REFUSED!!! She informed us that if we didn't want to stay without seeing the room we were welcome to leave!!! It was dirty & sketchy so we took our business elsewhere.

At first impressions of the place was, it’s a nicer motel... they have made the rooms look pretty and the beds are not too bad. The gentleman who booked me in was very nice and had amazing customer services. However, I booked at this place because it said breakfast is included! Note this is not the case! I went out to the front to get breakfast and the lady was rude. Said they do not have breakfast. I then proceed to tell her that when I booked the room online it said breakfast was included. She then said β€œ well breakfast is over now !” I asked her what time is breakfast over she said 9am. I was at the front desk before 9! Also just be very aware I ended up in the am with a zillion of bed bug bites all over me! So unfortunately I will never ever go back to this place again. I do give this place points for being one of the nicer motels I have been in. However for cleanliness and keeping it bug free it gets a big fat zero from me. The pain I now have to endure from all these bites really is the only reason I’m leaving a review to warn others and hopefully the motel owners will be able to address that issues for future guest. I for one will not ever risk it again hence to low rating. I’f there was no bed bugs it would have gotten a 3! Even with the grumpy lady with the no breakfast incident. I can live without breakfast but sure cannot live with this constant itchy and pain from the bed bugs :(

Great place for the price. Good place to get a good night's sleep. We paid around $115 for two large double beds for two people. The rooms were clean and decent looking. Our sink clogged in our room so the manager gave us a room next door and told us we can use both rooms ?, which was great. It's not a high end hotel but it's not sketchy or shady either. Great for the price with breakfast included. Breakfast is basic continental, nothing special, but enough to start the day. Overall we were happy with our stay sufficent for our needs.
