Can’t speak to a receptionist and cannot connect to anyone unless you use the directory for which you need to have a contact name.

Very interesting to visit from a heritage perspective. I only visited the main floor for customs clearance. Not a lot of staff there but the procedures were well explained and handled quickly.

They do not want to help you at all. They keep looking at the clock and keep saying you have to come back because they are soon closing. They don't care about what you need. If ou don't get there at 8 am, you cannot get anything done. Dont waste your breath. They're all dumb.

Located in a beautiful historic building, the CBSA office is a nice place to work in. The service was quick and friendly and the process was simple. Make sure you plan to pay for parking as there may be lots of snow on the street and few parking spots are not easy to find. Entrance to their office is located on side of building in the main floor, corner of Place d'Youville and McGill streets.

Will refuse straight forward to do their jobs because... Well it's Friday. Not to be bothered with opening hours that's just a formality, a sign on the door at best, no meaning whatsoever

Like Fort Knox, everyone hiding behind the curtain and no one providing customer service. Good Luck

Arrived 15.25 left after 16.34 with 4 people in front of me. Had to argue with officer who was not giving me the $800 allowance I was entitled to (out of Canada >7 days). He kept saying no proof I had been out long enough though had E24 form from airport. Finally when he pushed that form back at me again, saying the stamp only says arrival date (true), I pointed out to him the CBSA agent at airport had clearly filled in departure date which was 9 days earlier than arrival date. He suddenly changed his tune and recalculated. I only realized the issue because FedEx had given me an estimate of duty and this was too much.
