The owners were delighted to see our fur babies. Now that they are gone after 20 yrs of their happy life with us, I wanted to thank Camrose Kennel for taking care of them and updating us whenever we went to pick them up.

A	A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fellow pet parents: If you love your fur-babies, PLEASE think twice before putting them and your family at risk of such trauma!!! This kennel's standards have dropped drastically. Like always, we left them with a perfectly happy, healthy, energetic dog but this time, to our horror, we were handed back a completely emaciated dog. He lost almost half his body weight during his stay with them!!! You could see every rib in his chest and every vertebra in his spine was sticking out. He lost so much muscle mass he could barely walk. According to the kennel staff, they "NEVER NOTICED THE WEIGHT LOSS"!!! The owner didn't even have the decency to call back to discuss the matter. Absolutely cruel. In response to the kennel's reply below: We're shocked at the level of dishonesty by these people. They know they are at fault, had no valid reason for destroying a dog's health so they didn't bother communicating directly and now they're trying to make up absolutely false stories to save themselves from a bad review. It's clear that they care less about our pets and more about their business. We're just glad we got our boy back before he went into total organ failure due to starvation. Don't know what they did to terrify him but thankfully now he's happily recovering at home, has a big appetite and is a completely different dog from when we got him back from the kennel. Hope this serves as a reminder to them to never mistreat another animal again.
S	Sabrina Murray on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the first time we tried this place, and we were impressed. They communicated really well, had notes upon pickup regarding their stay, the ladies that brought them out were giving them a big farewell, and our pups literally came out smiling! Would recommend!
D	David Pickrell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some health issues with our pets were not observed or not reported. We left our 2 small dogs there for a week. Our corgi had a wound on his left leg which appeared to be some sort of abrasion or cut and the hair was bloody around it. His left paw was extremely red between the toes (turned out to be an ingrown hair but should have been obvious given the licking he was doing). Our terrier had very bad diarrhea and was a mess when we picked her up. The dog bed was folded over when returned to us to hide some dried feces that must have been on there some time. My wife contacted them and she did receive a call on her voicemail saying they would try again. She left a couple return messages but no reply. I get that things can happen but for us not to be notified of these obvious situations has us concerned about the trust we placed in Camrose Kennels. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
