C	Chelynne Hines on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow I remember this place when I was a kid. Used to go to the summer camp that took place for the kids. My cousin and I were just talking about this place. It has changed alot since the 90s lol. I remember the games by the campfire, singing, and the area where we used to watch veggie tales. I miss this camp alot.

New campers are always shy but you'll really start to open up. The staff are such amazing people. They try exceptionally hard to make the campers experience unforgettable. A note about phones; don't bring em there's no point. The LIT program was amazing. I met so many new friends. We all became best friends on the first night. That's how kind everyone is. There were a lot of LIT's this year, about fifteen. Leaving camp is the only bad part. Spac was unforgettable too, the goodbyes are always hard there.

It is a beautiful facility, lots of beauty surrounded by the mountains and forest. .just by the waters edge. Definitely worthy of the 5 stars. Looking forward to going back for my own spiritual retreat. Thanks for the tour!

G	GUS Wills on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This camp was free for me as a child of 9,10 and 11 the kids from downtown east side got to eat well and just be kids and not just run the streets all summer,.The times are quite different from what they were 53years ago and it was acceptable for children to be running around unescorted, these days child services will incarcerate any child into foster care and most of the homes are not there for the kids but for the cash they will be able to get out of the system for the rotten bratty displaced child victims of the system that's monetized family services that need to break up families in order to justify their exorbitant salary. The thing about camp Sunrise is that the place has stood still in time and the memories of my time there are exciting and profound .This was when in retrospect I learned that I had choices in my life that could be of crime and evil or something else that I was told that could be mine even though the ways can be tough, that God's love will always help me to be a better person.

G	Gregory McCay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right next to BC Ferries Terminal in Langdale, Sunshine Coast, this location was perfect rainy day (late October) indoor location for my grandson’s 3rd birthday party—held in big hall. There were all needed facilities (including kitchen, clean modern washrooms), a gas space heater—&, best of all, a large open fireplace with a roaring fire for parents to seat themselves around. Kids had a great time,with lots of space to run around, playing together (BD presents of toy kid-propelled vehicles—excellent props for kids party.)
J	Jennifer Wagner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely camp ground nestled within forest and mountains. Cabins are small but functional…. And warm!! A great place to get away and enjoy the coast. Super close to downtown Gibsons. Ferry terminal is right beside the camp but an issue at all!
