This company is a joke, their contractors find laborers through kijiji and tell them, "you're working for cachet homes". After a week or so contractor fire the employee and hire new guys through kijiji, and don't want to pay to the previos employees. Cachet home management says that they are not responsible for their contractors. On the other hand contractors are using Cachet Homes name while hiring.

THESE PPL ARE COMPLETE CROOKS STAY AWAY ***BEWARE***Applied for first release townhouse in Arthur development March 22 . Received a call from sales representative Manziha today Mar 29. Called me to say we have 2 of the models we requested available for sale . She then wanted a zoom meeting . We opened the zoom meeting to find that the price we had originally requested a meeting for had increased $200k By March 29th . She proceeded to say it was second phase but the lot she was offering us was part of existing first phase, confirmed with her right on her sight plan . We then proceeded to tell her we wanted the property to have her vanish from the zoom call. She came back 5 min later and said they just had a meeting and the house has gone up another $20k . So now that is a $220k increase in a week for the same phase . I told her no I have the price right infront of me and we are willing to sign and provide cheques tomorrow for the full deposit of $120k .She then says the only way you can buy this house is if you have the cheque to our Orangeville office by 6:00pm today . Zoom call was at 4:45 . If not the price goes up $20000. These ppl are complete crooks and are the worst builders for repairs and communications. Our friend bought a detached in the Grand Valley release and told us to stay away as no one in the development is happy with this builder . Please be cautious of their sales person shadiest person I have ever met , don’t let her put you on hold or shel raise your price lol . Complete joke !!!!

If I could give Cachet homes zero stars I would. Most disreputable, greedy, shady, and disgusting home development company to exist. To start off, for their Arthur release their purchasing appointment booking system opened at 10:00 am and I registered when it was still 10:00 am thinking that I would be one of the first to receive an appointment. A week later I finally receive a call for an appointment only to learn that most of the community has been sold and the only available detached lots are backing onto the pond with a $105,000 premium. I don’t understand who all these lots were sold to if I registered as soon as the appointment system opened??? If that wasn’t bad enough, when I received the sales brochure the detached homes were advertised at $700-800k only for them to raise the prices up to a million+ the day AFTER everyone registered for a purchasing appointment. How can a builder allow people to book purchasing appointments at a certain advertised price and then after the appointments have been booked raise the home prices 200-300k??? As the cherry on top, cachet has been raising the prices incrementally each day as yesterday the homes were raised 80k and today it has been raised 40k (won’t be surprised to see it raise even more). after the home prices have gone up over $120k (and i’m sure they’ll go up again before my appointment) plus the 105k mandatory premium in just two days I do not see this a worthwhile investment and will never buy a home with cachet. I beg all of you reading this review to buy a home elsewhere. builders have become greedy and selfish thinking it is okay to treat potential customers in whatever way they want because they know people are desperate for homes which is why our housing market is the way that it is. if we continue to feed into this ridiculous behaviour by builders such as cachet it will certainly only get worse. There is a reason cachet has such terrible reviews and ratings so please do yourself a favour and do not even consider this disgusting company for your new home. I have not even purchased the home and have had a terrible experience with this company so I can imagine how they treat you after you have actually given them your money… A message/warning to cachet: I hope you know that the current housing market where builders have all the power and are able to call the shots will not last forever. All you have done with your disgusting business practices is tarnish your reputation and turn away potential/future customers. When things go back to normal and the housing market cools I can’t wait to see the trouble you guys have to even get customers through your doors. I would advise you make some big changes soon before it is too late.

After successfully booking an appointment opportunity for Cachet Arthur release, I did not receive any call for an appointment. I noticed that the builder also changed the prices daily for their models. Today alone it was increased twice. A model I looked at last week was listed for 889k and now it's 1.2 million. And the bungalows are listed for $0 also. They also mentioned on their instagram that Cachet Arthur sold out on a post that was a week before release date! Shady business practice and company. Never seen this with any other builder. Don't trust this company.

Dear Cachet (specifically the Arthur release): Your unresponsiveness to potential customers is rude and unprofessional. How is this acceptable to you as a company ? You have never returned a single call or email - you send us invitations to register for new releases, peruse your selections, dream of our new home and then ignore us completely. No one to talk to, no one to ask a single thing to - just a ghost of a company when it comes to customer service. If you didn’t want to talk to any customers and didn’t want to sell any of your homes - why advertise them to the public ? Does your reputation as builder mean nothing to you at all? If the homes are sold out - say so. If you advertised your prices and have changed your mind - say so. If you decided not to release all the lots - say so. If you sold to only friends and family - say so. Just stop playing games and tanking your reputation - for your sakes. As for us, we will just move on - thanks for wasting our time.

Last week I took delivery of my home built by Cachet Homes in Mount Hope, Hamilton. I want to express my complete happiness & satisfaction with this builder. Since the day I purchased in Feb 2020, they have been organized, professional and responsive during every step of the journey. Most importantly, the quality and craftsmanship of the home is top grade and built to last. I want to thank Olivia and Adam, who did an excellent job during my pre-delivery inspection. They took the time to guide me through the home, explain all the details of mechanical & maintenance, and answer all of my questions. The whole experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Cachet Homes.
