★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, centrally located, comfortable rooms. Ours was a good size with a mini kitchen and a large balcony. All staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a reasonable accommodation in ByWard Market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Byward's always a fun place to explore and do a nice day out shopping, but it absolutely EXPLODES in the summer. The merchant stalls have the coolest clothing, jewelry & art. Also, all the vegetable and fruit stales that pop up have such fresh and delicious foods. Plus, you can feel good about supporting local farmers & creators. Definitely recommend visiting if you haven't already.

The owners of shops, the variety of items, and the many things to explore around the market are fun.
We took pictures with some of the wall art and found a candy store that makes the cookies from "Squid Games" the children loved that one!
We listened and danced to music that was playing on the street and we stopped at the Beavertail truck for a nice treat! (Debit and Credit only, no cash for that)
It wasn't very busy when we went so we were able to enjoy most of the features there.
Someone does art on maple leaves.. ?. Seriously. It's cool ?.
Recommend going for a nice stroll at least, to see what's there !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very trendy and busy neighbourhood of Ottawa. Vendors galore. Be sure to wear your walking shoes as that is what you will be doing as you visit the various merchants. Many restaurants and do not forget to bring your mask to prevent Covid spread. It is always busy there due to the fact that it is well-known and trendy.
