R	Ryan Brown on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good fresh food and friendly staff. They have a many specialty items that are difficult to find elsewhere. Some things I go for are; dried Mexican chilies, tomatillos, exotic fruits, nice dates and nice selection of fresh mushrooms.

The Byward Fruit Market is a local and intimate alternative right in the Byward Market, with a friendly staff and peaceful interior. Their fruit and veggies are a decent price and they have a surprising variety. It's more fun to shop here than in a basement or at the Metro, or Loblaws.

Hard not to support a small place like this which is a "ma and pa" shop. With the incoming of Farm Boy, it's difficult to support a store given the prices in comparison. I still go for time to time but I now take my business to farm boy to get a better price and sometimes quality. support if you can

Campoli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ decent selection. wonderful mushrooms, and other hidden gems. on june 22 between 3.30 and 4.30, the woman behind the register reached into the trash with her gloved hands to push it down, then proceeded to touch the produce I was buying. I am not a frequent customer, but this shop is one of my favourites, and it was too bad to see this happen. I should have said something at the time, and I apologise to all other customers for not doing that. Thus, I am further inclined to leave this review.

Byward Fruit Market consistently carries the best selection of wild mushrooms in the city. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the produce is fresh and the range of ingredients is superb. Highly recommend this boutique establishment for all your culinary creations.
