★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3:34pm May 17th, young girl at cash register with ponytail will not accept returns if you don’t have PAPER receipt, even if you payed with credit card. The butter was bad and I can’t return it. I don’t know if she was new or Buy Low Foods genuinely will not do returns unless you have paper receipt. London Drugs can do it why can’t Buy Low? Two possibilities, both deserve one star
Possibility 1, Buy Low Foods poorly train their staff/the staff had poor performance
Possibility 2, it is the Buy Low Foods policy that you must keep your paper receipt for returns and this policy was not mentioned anywhere on the receipt itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small store but has an amazing selection for such a small size. Can find most things that sometimes even a big supermarket doesn't even have. And their baked goods are excellent.
Parking out front is never full, and is very convenient as it is right by the exit doors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its clean, with great staff, and a pretty great range of products. Everything you would want from a local grocery store. The downfall is the bill doesnt feel like you are buying low.
You can get some killer deals here but on average prices are a few cents higher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty much every time I shop here there is produce or perishables that are well beyond expiry... Just got home and realized the yogurt I bought expired 2 weeks ago. Once I went there for strawberries and found two containers full of moldy berries, and another time I bought a box of cookies that expired nearly 6 months ago. Like. Check your inventory a bit more closely, guys. It's gross.
Especially for how expensive everything is I'd expect better quality control...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good variety of food products and fresh produce. This location accepts donations to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, though the donation bin is not labeled and is in an awkward location. Ask staff to direct you to it. Lots of free, wheel-chair accessible parking and a wheel-chair accessible entrance. Direct access to parking from eastbound Rumble Street and southbound Royal Oak Avenue.
