β β β β β I had a pre purchase inspection done on the vehicle, they were able to get me in quickly, did a great job and i really liked the comprehensive report detailing the inspection. Ray the owner even sent me a follow up text to make sure I was satisfied.
I would highly recommend them.

β β β β β Highly recommend this shop for anyone who needs work done on their vehicle. The guys that run this shop are honest, quick, and genuinely care about their customers. They ensured that my truck leak was fixed, and did everything they could to be accommodating, reasonable, and timely during the repair. I would not hesitate to recommend Dalhousie Auto Service to anyone looking for a mechanic. Great group of staff and great service.

β β β β β I got amazing service here! I have a car that is really difficult to locate parts for and my battery was showing signs that it would not hold up through another Calgary winter. I was in a pinch and AMA recommended Dalhousie Auto Service. To my great surprise, they had the battery in the shop and were able to immediately install it for me! Service was pleasant, efficient and about as quick as you could hope for. A wonderful experience and I will be returning.

β β β β β Twice recently Iβve needed service on my vehicle and taken it to Dalhousie Auto Service and both times was impressed by their speed and honesty. In each case good advice was given to me and no up sell. On my second visit, although I was having one type of service done the technician corrected two others as a courtesy, n/c, while my truck was on the hoist. I will not hesitate to take my vehicle back for any further work I may need.

β β β β β My family and neighbors used to get their cars serviced here but we will not go there anymore, due to the rudeness and the scare tactics that the guy uses to get the customer to spend more money. He wanted us to spend an extra $300 for signal light repair. After taking in vehicle for simple oil change he immediately was looking for extra money. They are a hungry business and will say whatever suits them to get your money. Disrespectful as well, towards the customer.

β β β β β I called my usual mechanic's office enquiring about how much it would cost to replace a bulb (my left rear blinker was burnt out)? They said it would be the cost of the bulb and a half hour of labor. I thought this was a bit ridiculous to change a light bulb. I decided to call our neighborhood mechanic, Dalhousie Auto Service. They told me it would be the cost of the bulb, and that there's no charge for labour. They told me to stop by anytime. Joel helped me. He had a very hard time removing the light cover. It took roughly 20 mins. Once popped off, he replaced my bulb, with ease. Wished me a nice day, and said goodbye. I was shocked. Offered to pay, he refused. It was such a breath of fresh air coming from a mechanic. Being a woman (Jack's wife), I felt my normal mechanic was trying to take advantage of the situation. Dalhousie and Joel was the complete opposite. Dalhousie gained my future business. My other mechanic lost a client. Thank you so much Joel and Dalhousie Auto Service.
