โ โ โ โ โ We are incredibly safe and considerate drivers. We rented this car to go up into the mountains, which I'm sure many people do in Abbotsford, BC. Upon return of the car, they claim there is a stone chip in the windshield that is less than 2cm, however they bullied us into making an insurance claim to repair the windshield. We were rushed, and shamed about "not taking their insurance". We do have coverage with our credit card, but we believe this is normal wear and tear of a vehicle that is driving through the wilds of Canada. This has been a giant hassle and felt entirely like a scam.

โ โ โ โ โ We would 100% recommend Budget Rental in Abbotsford Vancouver Airport! From start... with a lovely girl Preet, to finish... another lovely girl named Sonia...the experience was a breeze! Extremally convenient...especially since we weren't familiar with the area. We will be visiting the area again in the near future and will definitely be choosing Budget Rental again. โ โ โ โ โ A person named Bal whom works at this location is excellent, I hope management will recognize Bal's exceptional Customer Service. I had a last minute flight change that required me to stay in Abbotsford for an additional day. I had already dropped off the form at the front desk and handed the keys to a Budget Lot Person where the vehicle was parked. Long story short, I needed a Rental Car for an additional day. There wasn't a CSR at Budget however, there was a CSR at Enterprise. I booked a vehicle on my Enterprise App and reserved a vehicle, upon going to the Enterprise desk and communicating my Reservation number, I was told no vehicles were available - the Enterprise CSR explained there is a 2hr lag between online Reservation vs. Reality at the location ?! I left without a vehicle and exited the Airport and coincidentally met with Bal outside. I approached Bal explained what had happened and asked if he could assist, and sure enough he did without hesitation. Bal extended my contract for 1 more day - done! My company uses Enterprise however, Budget and Bal came through 100%. Thank you Bal !

โ โ โ โ โ FRAUD - WORSE EXPERIENCE
Booked a car-Hyundai Sonata(PREMIUM) for Feb 02,2022 from this location. Upon arrival they gave me a car from Nissan(which i never wanted)The total bill was $179. They took $500 as security deposit.
Then i Return my car on Feb 05,2022.
On Feb 07,2022 it reflected on my account that amount of $225 is deducted ($56 extra for no reason). However got $56 back by calling customer care again n again.
Now the remaining security deposit amount of $274 dollar i am still waiting on it. There is no response from representatives. One said there is nothing he can do because it is too late and he canโt check it on system. Another one said that he can check it on system and released the hold.
But every time i call my bank they say that they have nothing on hold.
Such a FRAUD.

โ โ โ โ โ Our experience with this company was very positive from beginning to end. Car was clean and comfortable.
We had been hit by another vehicle and went through process of calling to report it and filling out a incident report. Preete was the employee who assisted us, she was very professional, compassionate and helpful.we very much appreciate her help and attitude. Upon returning car, the employee that assisted us was pleasant and helpful as well.
We were very pleased with all aspects of of transaction and communication.

โ โ โ โ โ Bal (the guy with the tattoos!) was very nice and patient with us while we picked up our rental. He pointed out my card had collision coverage included, and also that me and my partner were common law so he could add him as an additional driver. We came in having a tough day and with him around, it was a good day! Hats off to him, great guy, will rent from Budget again for sure.
