R	Ray Pregent on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place!! I reserved a vehicle from this 2273 Gladwin crescent location and they wanted to give me a vehicle with summer tires on it. So I refused the car they were offering as it was the middle of winter on February 7th and I was going to a remote location that would definitely require winter tires. So, the guy at the front desk says you will get your refund within a few days. OK, so today is February 24th, and still no refund. What a waste of time!! I have been renting from these people when they were on Industrial rd. and never had any issues and now with the new location, this place really sucks!!! Stay FAR AWAY!!
A	Allison Jewell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Budget has reasonable car prices but outside of this we didn't have a very positive experience with our car rental. We arrived on time to collect our car and were the only ones in line. Despite this we spent around a half hour going through the process of getting the car, going through paper work and paying for the car. Overall the operation felt disorganized and put us behind schedule for our travels. The individual at the counter didn't appear to be prioritizing the customers as they arrived and didn't appear confident in what he was doing. The car drop off experience was fortunately much quicker and more positive. I wouldn't write off budget but also am more likely to look for other options in the future.

M	Michel Devost on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a car from the Costco car rental for best prices and it assigned a car from Budget on Gladwin. I picked up the car and it was ready as scheduled. I drove home and then our plans changed: we didn’t need a rental car any more. So I returned the car within about an hour of renting it. The supervisor/manager waived the entire fee and cancelled all charges on my credit card. He didn’t have to do that, but he did. And he was training someone and showed him how to enter that info in their system. In other words, he was training him on how to be helpful, not just taking money from their clients. Thank you very much and I’ll definitely book my next car rental from this location!

The car smelled of cigarettes, but we let that go, since vehicles are hard to get Labour Day weekend. About 20 minutes down the road, we stopped for an hour. Returning to the car we noticed our tire was flat. The roadside assistance changed the flat and pointed out that 3 out of 4 tires on the car were bald and unsafe. (He used the word, 'illegal'.) He warned us not to drive far or fast, so we returned it to the office, which was closed at the time. We are just grateful we never got onto the highway. The next day, the person at the desk was apologetic, but he did not have authority to promise a refund. Two days later we were finally able to speak to a customer service rep who assures us they are working on a refund.

Many of us dont like our jobs but the least you can do is pretend you do !!!instead some choose to take it out on customers as if its our fault. I dont like to complain and i let things go 99% of the time but sometimes it needs be said.

Rented cars from many companies and was disappointed with not class of car I ordered , but with Avis and Budget in Industrial RD they always find way to get right class of car. Must be excellent manager Etienne Dupuis setting good example. Keep up good work ?.
A	A K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have 1500$ rental coverage. I had an accident. Called this place to try rent a car. They wanted my insurance to email them and talk to them directly. Never heard of that before. And I will DEF be looking into it... I had the claim number. Etc. Policy number..yet they wouldnt rent to me without my insurance directly contacting them...this isn't right and undermines paying for rental coverage insurance in your policy..also they demand a 500$ deposit...where as I was quoted 100$ by ANOTHER budget in the same city... and usually it's a 100$ deposit on a credit card. ANYWHERE....alsonthe rates here were 69.99 a day for the CHEAPEST veichle they have!!! that's like 25,$ more then what i had rented a 2021 before a few years ago...I'm not mad at them but wow.. it's called budget rental...and they ask more of you then anywhere else.
