S	Shaun Boivin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just finished a 18 hour work day drove all the way down regent and Henderson hwy looking for a restaurant that would have a great drink and a snack. THANK YOU Brown social house. Those old fashion drinks were the best I've ever had, and the pork dumpings yum yum. After a brutal long stressful day at work you put a smile on my face. Everything from the food to the drinks and the great service from the waitress. Spot on. Your my new go too restaurant.

I decided to give it another chance this evening, as maybe my first experience was a fluke. Nope, unfortunately not. My husband ordered a side salad and two happy hour appetizers. I ordered the soup, salad and garlic bread. He received what can only be described as a sprinkling of lettuce for $10. His fried pickles were tiny and basic. His fries were tasty but looked like half a potatoes worth. I received the wrong salad which was switched out for the correct one eventually. My soup was delicious. We paid 4.25 each for POP. The portions are ridiculously small and the value for money is non-exisitant. If you are going to give tiny portions of food for alot of money, the food better be AMAZING. When it's not, it really feels like a rip off. Thankfully our server was very friendly. We paid $60 for our meal and ended up having to go home and eat... not worth the money.

I was a little perplexed by the multitude of server's and how many times and different people asked me how things were tasted. But that's a me thing. I don't like to be interrupted every 5 minutes but others might like that kind of service.

She said it was one of the best caeser's she's had in a long time. The chicken was really good she said. I loved my dish and would order it again. Little pricey for what you're eating but the service and atmosphere made up for it in my opinion.

I got the fried chicken and pickles, which was a great choice for a lighter meal as I wasn't too hungry. On top of that, I ordered an Old Fashioned. Browns' take on that drink is great, I've never had one served with rye and a grapefruit slice anywhere else. It's a much appreciated alternative version to the usual bourbon and orange peel. I will definitely be coming here more often as it's not a far drive, and Browns is just a great chain all around.
