I knew we needed some brickwork done but I was tired of waiting for my husband to get to do it...So Mike came and did a reasonable quote and came back about a week later when the weather was good to do the work....We can't see when he worked! It blends seamlessly! So seeing what he did, we asked him to do more work that was only from a cosmetic stand point and that was bothering me. He did tell us that it wasn't a structural need but I wanted it done for my own OCD! He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. We will reuse him if the needs arrive in the future and we are gladly recommending him Caroline Bourret, Markham

I asked Mike Browne of Brownes Contracting for a quote after seeing the brick replacement and tuck pointing work he had done on my neighbour's house. I met with him the next day and I liked that he explained in detail exactly what he will do to grind down and clean out the old mortar joint before putting in the new mortar for the tuck pointing. We went around the house to discuss the amount of tuck pointing, brick replacement and parging work that is needed before he quoted me a fair price. I am pleased with Mike's attention to detail in his work. He blended in the new mortar with the old one. I have a "stepladder" crack in the mortar joints above one of the windows which he repaired seamlessly. I recommend Brownes Contracting for their quality work.

After talking with a few companies; found Mikes quote was on par with the industry, so I did not bother with getting other quotes. I chose Mike to do the job and was not disappointed. Asked me when I was available after he apologized and I gave him three consecutive days when he could come. Never called, never showed, never again.
