I have been taking my pets to this vet for nearly 20 years.. The last time I was there was with my boxer Easton. He had been suffering from arthritis in his hips and knees. The vet did X-rays and prescribed some painkillers.. With a little weight loss and more natural supplements it wasn’t long before Easton was pain free and loving life again… fast forward a couple of years and his arthritis is causing him pain again.. He’s 12 years old now and can no longer do long walks or get in the truck..I called the vet to ask for the same pain killers they prescribed previously.. They informed me that he will need to come in for another examination to which I explained that’s not really possible.. I understand that would be the optimal process, especially for their bank balance $$$$, but let’s get real here.. His arthritis hasn’t gone away.. X-rays are completely unnecessary and it would be cruel to walk him there or manhandle him into a vehicle.. He weighs 100 lbs..So he goes without any relief from his pain.. His days are numbered as it is with his back end getting weaker and weaker.. This to me is just a business trying to line their pockets.. My family has been using this vet for 20 years.. 11 years with Easton.. I am totally disgusted at the disregard they have shown him in his time of need..Brutal

The care that they give my dog Blondie is second to none. I have never been to a veterinary clinic that takes such great care of each and every animal that I have witnessed myself. My dog has been treated every time with the care and patience while dealing with her fear of veteranarians. They're operating such an excellent clinic that I would recommend them whole heartedly to anyone for their fur family members.

I started going to this vet approximately 3 years ago and they are by far my favourite vet and honestly the only team of vets I trust. I have had semi monthly visits up until recently as my dog has really bad allergies. Through this experience, they have recommended different medications to try, what medications are worth trying and which ones aren't based on my dog's breed/size. I've tried apoquel which didn't work at first and swapped my dog to the immuno therapy after having him go through an allergy test. He's now back on apoquel as the immunotherapy wasn't working as much as I would like and doesn't frequent the vet nearly as much as he did when he was in his early stages of life. I took my cat here as soon as I was able to. (He was a stray that showed up at my back door, unfixed, no tattoo) They were extremely informative in regards to his neutering and were able to diagnose and treat him for worms. Recently my bf and I took his female cat to this vet to have a lump inspected. They collected a sample and are sending it off for screening for cancer. During this visit, they informed me that they have a vet here that specializes in weight management for cats and told me that this vet takes measurements of the cat and specifies how much the cat should weigh based off these measurements. Throughout my time as a pet owner, I have been to approx. 6 different vets and have not trusted a single one apart from the vets/assistants at this clinic. I honestly love this team so much and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. They are super knowledgable, friendly, and fairly priced.

We have had the highest quality service, love and care given to our cat Stella by the staff at Brookswood Veterinary Hospital. Even after we moved away last year, I just requested some paperwork and it was sent within 3 minutes of calling. Highly recommend for your favourite fur babies!

By far the best vet clinic I've ever had to go to. The vet was professional and very clear in all the information that was given to me about my new puppy. I was referred to them by a family friend and there will be no hesitation referring them to anybody I know. Very friendly reception desk as well! Keep up the amazing work

A found cat was brought into the clinic for neuter, the clinic then realized the cat was neutered and had a microchip which linked to us as the owner. Sadly this cat was lost by their foster and we have been beside ourselves trying to find and know this cat is ok. Legal protocol when a cat is found and the legal owner is found for the clinic to hold onto the cat for the "stray wait hold" for the registered legal owner to claim the cat after notifying them. This clinic notified us they found the cat but had sent the cat with the finder and wont give us their information to reclaim the cat. Not only that but the staff were very rude and cold on the matter. There is no point to microchips if clinics don't follow basic protocol with them so that legal owners can get their pets back. As a rescue that cares deeply about our cats we want to know he is safe and well looked after. If basic things like this are disregarded in a hospital that is very concerning.

The reception folks are great. I have a couple of issues though. One is that the vets don't seem to examine pets themselves - the default in this clinic is technicians having a look at your pet unless you specifically ask to see a vet. In a way its good because it's a cost-saving measure? A bigger issue is that I had taken my dog (this time requested to see one of the vets) - my dog is quite fearful and barked at the other dogs in reception - when the vet met my dog in the exam room, she was afraid to examine my dog properly. It was supposed to be a yearly exam and the vet barely touched my dog. I would think vets would be better trained to handle pets with different temperaments? All she had to do what spend a little extra time with my dog to allow time to warm up. And, no, my dog was never aggressive toward the vet.
