I have decided to withdraw my practitioner insurance policy with Brokerteam due to exceptionally bad service. This company provides no service or correspondence whatsoever except when it is renewal time, and takes no responsibility in notifying their customers. For years I did not know who my broker was, and also did not know when they changed offices. The last straw was when I had a policy which had expired for a week. They would only offer to reinstate my policy upon me paying a $50 renewal fee on a $350 policy, despite me never reporting any claims and being a model customer for several years in a row. I called to get an explanation about this, but they could not tell me who my broker was, and directed me to another one of their offices, saying that my broker had branched off and opened a new office since "he had too much business". I contacted the other office and was offered no explanation, so I guess my policy was too low to warrant a proper response. In light of the responses I have gotten, it is needless to say that this company has no respect towards their clients and I would urge anyone looking to apply for a policy with this company reconsider. Probably to avoid bad publicity, they will post a response saying that I should get in touch with them to see if they can help me better. Since I have already had such bad experiences, why would I want to get in touch with them again?

I recently went to the company several times to sign up insurance. However, the company was closed and the business hours are at their disposal. I'm not going to get insurance because I had a bad experience before I even got insurance.

We will be dealing directly with Aviva instead of BrokerTeam. Our agent cannot properly explain our auto and home policies and always provide information in hindsight. He always beat around the bush when we asked about our annual premium increase and even gives us a hard time when we asked to compare a quote from a different company. Terrible service and communication and does not care about the client.

I had auto & home insurance with BrokerTeam from the beginning of 2020 until January 2021, when I decided to return to China. I asked the agent to cancel my insurance starting in Feb 2021 with 2 weeks notice. However, because of his negligence, he did not ask me to sign the cancellation form until I found out I paid both February and March insurance premiums, $154.79 each month. I contacted the agent many times for reimbursement of the two months' insurance premiums but got refused. Also,very unprofessional communication, no response or delay the response from agent

I had auto insurance with them for 3 years with Chen Zhang. First year was okay, but the problem started from second year. I have asked for a quote and the guy asked for a driver's license and car info. Provided the info, and was waiting for couple of days, and there was no returning email, so I asked guy and he says that he already activated my insurance and I have to pay for cancelation fee for canceling the activation. And I just kinda ignored that first issue, but now its third year. I continued with the same guy and I agreed for Aviva insurance, but the thing is Wawanesa is continuously taking money out of my bank and Aviva at the same time, and I'm paying literally 6 times more every month of what I have agreed. I tried to solve the issue with the guy, it's been 1 year and 4 month that nothing has changed, he just says that I will get the refund but for 1 year and 4 month nothing happened. And I am paying 1200 dollar monthly now. which was suppose to be 200 something. I can not just wait forever something has to be done. I went to office before I mention to the guy and the office was closed.

they gave me insurance only to cancel me after a year, moved mover to a different company for a month, when i decided i did not want insurance with them anymore they kept first and last months insurance and wanted me to pay a third month. they explained that first and last month would be kept and why which made sense and that the third month i was paying for would be refunded, in which i was refunded. no problems there... 3 months later i get a letter in the mail stating "FINAL NOTICE" from the insurance company stating that i owe them almost $500. when i called in to dispute this, the agent was very rude and not giving the chance to even explain what is happening and demanded i just pay it and that "its not his record" when i stated that i shouldn't have to pay for it. now the insurance company is terribly hard to get a hold of. their website is down, there is no way to dispute this matter, nor pay so it wont stain my record as well as my credit. this company literally let me get ******. i called the manager she called me back was helpful in giving me information but i still have to dispute it myself with the insurance company. turns out the company that had canceled me is saying i owe them that money for changes that were done to my policy 2 weeks before it ended in which they wanted the equivalent of a first and last payment.
