J	J T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unorganized front desk. Having Dr. Gohr in both cobourg and port hope, makes it difficult to book appointments in your preferred town. After an eye exam, I ordered contacts. 3 weeks later I called to ask when they would be in and Lori advised they hadn’t put the order in. Ordered again and when they came in I was surprised they tack on a dispensing fee of $90! Why am I paying them to do a job they couldn’t do in the first place. When I asked for a discount, they unhappily offered %10 off of the $90. Not the $500 that I spent there. I’ll be contacting the doctor personally to see if the “dispensing” fee can be waived. Order your contacts online and save the $90 and hassle from incompetent workers.

Dr. Ghor was extremely informative and professional, we both felt very well taken care of in his hands. All of the staff that we encountered at the office were very accommodating and friendly. After having only been to the same eye doctor my whole life, I was a little bit nervous to try out a new doctor, but I am really glad I did. This office provided us with great care and a great experience. :)
M	Michelle King on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Ghor is great but the receptionist at the front..not so much. After trying to buy a refill of my eye drops I was treated exactly like the previous review. So unprofessional and terrible customer service. I won't return to the Port Hope office.
A	Aemelia Mead on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a patient here all my life, it was only the last 2 experiences I had going to this clinic that I decided to never return. On my last visit, the receptionist Laurie told me I could not just walk into the clinic, I told her I was not aware of this, she then said "there are signs all over the door you should have read them". . She was extremely condescending. I was polite about it but I found it very unprofessional. I had another bad experience at this place when I had asked to have my glasses repaired, the doctor flat out said no and walked away. As a medical receptionist myself I understand we are all exhausted due to COVID but you absolutely cannot take it out on patients. Check my google reviews, I don't leave bad ones but this place just always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So sad.

When she told them the bifocals didn't work (she couldn't see out of them) they attempted to fix them and made them worse. When she explained the situation they were rude and wouldn't correct the issue. I'm not impressed at all with how they handled it - I recommend you find another place in town for your business.

We go as a family to see Dr Parpia on a regular basis. Her ability to work with kids, her experience, and her recommendations for lenses/glasses are reasons we continue going to see Dr Parpia. Dr Parpia is extremely nice and her consultative approach makes us feel very comfortable. I’ve personally referred several family members myself, and would highly recommend this clinic for all.

She made sure the kids had a great experience and was very thorough to insure their vision was fine. Also with having my pupal dilated she made sure I went first. We all felt safe with the precautions they had in place.
