Great service.
This place seems to run out so order ahead.
Conveniently located.
Minimal parking but the street has lots.
Definitely be back to try it on a bun which they ran out of. Always a good sign.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little gem is located on a main street of Port Hope ON Toronto Rd. at Victoria.
A relative had told us this place was great and today we found out why. Our order was 2 schnitzel and one chip. We were full before eating half of it. No room for fries. The meat was plentiful plus and tender. Very tasty. Their sign in the window reads "Best Schnitzel Ever".
Two thumbs up. We agree and all the other customers who arrived after us must agree too.
PS we ate the other half for dinner and liked it then too!
Important for me. This business did follow the Covid guidelines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Hunter Schnitzel meal with sauerkraut and fries and a Pork Schnitzel sandwich.
The food tastes great and the portion size is big - I had this for lunch and the leftovers for dinnet!! And the woman who took my order and made the food was lovely.
I'll be visiting again!

The schnitzel sandwiches are HUGE, schnitzel is crispy and perfectly cooked, fresh cut fries are also great! Plan to have leftovers...
The Schnitzel Shack is just a small place, nothing fancy. Just go to the counter and place your order, staff are friendly, food is prepared pretty fast. If it's busy, they'll give you a beeper to let you know when your food is ready.
Tried the pork schnitzel and farmers schnitzel sandwiches, both were excellent. I've heard great things about the Schnitzel Parmesan, definitely going to try that next!
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Drove One Hour and a Few Minutes to try this place. From arriving you notice it's a small family restaurant. You enter and place your order and are greated by a really friendly staff. I placed my order of a couple of Chicken Schnitzel sandwiches and a poutine. Upon trying the first bit man was it worth it. The sandwiches where filling and absolutely big. I would recomend this place to anybody that can head down to this gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So great!! Delicious schnitzel and very generous portions as well. They were super friendly and even gave us treats and water for our dog as we ate on the patio. Really appreciated their hospitality and will make it a point to stop here every time we're driving along the route!
