Cheap materials used on home paid alot for extra. Workmanship was done by trade workers that just started out. Had 4 pages of repairs. They didnt bother to come back and fix anything. Get there oak stair case and enjoy problems upgrade ur tiles watch the grout start to crack. But when they do show up main source of solution get the caulking that's how it's fixed by there Mickey mouse repair worker, basically if you wanna know gossip on the area from worst home to couple problems. They will tell you there scope and not finish the repair that they were there for. Neighbour's that are over 60+ will cry about anything cause that's what miserable couples do. If you wanna own a great lemon home and over pay in property tax then mason home in port hope is your place.

The only reason Mason Homes gets one star is because I can't leave a zero star review. Sales staff are great. Your nightmare will begin after you've made your purchase and they have your money. Their customer service is horrible. We had a leak in our roof which Mason Homes didn't fix for three weeks. We now have a report from TARION that confirms we have mold. Guess what? We brought our concern of mold to the attention of TARION and Mason Homes eight months ago and it still isn't remediated. Our mold issues are in addition to the numerous other problems we've had dealing with Mason Homes. We have OBC (Ontario Building Code) violations on our roof and the stone work around our home. The HVAC system installed does not reflect the stamped drawings from the city and we have limited air flow in parts of our home. Mason Homes and their trades, along with TARION have been to our home to inspect our HVAC system eight times over the past year – still no solution. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend Mason Homes to anyone!
