Here at Bridgeland Crossings Optometry we are dedicated to help educate and provide our patients with a great experience and a full understanding of their ocular health
Established in March of 2017, we offer full scope Optometric services in the Bridgeland Community and a member of the Bridgeland/Riverside Community Association. We are located just outside of Downtown Calgary in the Northeast with easy access to Calgary Transit. We are a 2 minute walk away from the Bridgeland Train Station and 5 minutes away from 1st Ave.
We are easily accessible from to our neighbours in Bridgeland, East Village, Mill Estate, Inglewood, Ramsay, Renfrew, Saint George's Heights and Crescent Heights!
Since our establishment, we are known for providing patients a "friendly", "knowledgeable" and "comfortable" atmosphere during their visit. We hope to continue to provide all our patients with the knowledge and services their eyes deserve!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent in all respects. I feel I have just consulted with the most competent, well-informed optometrist in Calgary -- and I have seen many. Dr. Patel is a very patient, respectful individual who showed interest, sensitivity, was knowledgeable, and answered all questions thoroughly. At both appointments, I was graciously given as much time as I needed to discuss various factors related to my vision, including ongoing difficulty in managing severe dry eye, investigating why progressive lenses dispensed by several other optometrists have produced unsatisfactory results, and a better understanding of how an RX for hormonal therapy may affect my vision in the future. At times, Dr. Patel spoke quite quickly and softly, but I was able to follow the discussion at all times. I wish Dr. Patel and his staff every success.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had exceptional service at Bridgeland Crossings Optometry. I was there in Dec 2021 to look at frames 5 - 6 weeks ahead of my eye appointment. A month later, Nehreen remembered me as did Dr. Yogesh Patel. It's hard enough to choose new frames as it's much easier to remain in a comfort zone. Nehreen sure knows her styles/colours and what would be suitable. Even though my Dec choice of frames was still available we looked at new stock that came in since. I went completely out of my comfort zone! Thank you Nehreen and Dr. Patel for your candidness. Great to change and shake things up! Plus to my greatest surprise I was able to get my new frames with prescription in by waiting 15 min. Never have I ever had this kind of service in my 50+ years of eye wearing! My old lenses were chipped and will be fixed as my back-up frames! WIN! WIN! WIN! Thank you again Nehreen and Dr. Patel for being so helpful.

I am a first-time contact lens wearer, and was so nervous and anxious with application, with lots of questions. Nehreen, Dr. Krienke, and her student, Amanda, were very so lovely and patient with me. First time coming to this clinic, and I am absolutely beyond satisfied with their knowledge, patience, and kindness. I never felt like I was rushed, and they explained everything thoroughly. Then Nehreen helped me with getting my glasses and she is so good at what she does, she worked with me to find some new glasses to fit my face. I seriously get compliments every day on my new specs!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I originally chose this optometry after having such a great experience with the dentistry side. Both the receptionist and eye doctor were so pleasant, patient and professional. Most places will advise against bringing your child(ren) with you but I was actually encouraged to bring my little one and we ended up getting her eye exam done as well! :) They also have an option to pay by e-transfer which is so convenient and it was impressive to me that they're so up-to-date to willing to accommodate. Highly recommend.

After paying for over-the-counter dry eye products for the last ten years, she offered to write a prescription for drops covered by my insurance plan. The ophthalmologist I see every six months has never mentioned a prescription was available... And the clinic staff is wonderful! Two young women were so helpful in helping me choose new glasses. Frames are available in all price ranges, including as low as $100 (not on sale), and there is large variety at different price ranges too. Very much appreciated. Thanks Bridgeland Crossings Optometry. My partner will be visiting you next, and I'll recommend you to friends!
