DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! Their website advertises their programs are designed for people with no technical background and no technical experience. But this is clearly not the case once you see their admissions process!

I love the process of lifetime learning. Website design, marketing and now data analytics courses over the last few years have made me an alumni at BrainStation. I never set out to be a specialist in any one of these certificates, however, as a generalist I knew I needed to keep learning, but with a full-time job, it was difficult to find the right kind of environment. BrainStation has fit the bill perfectly. Part-time classes made it easy to attend after work once a week. The Toronto Campus/Quantum Coffee, Slack channels and Zoom gave me all the tools I needed. The instructors have all been fantastic - each one of them worked in the field and have practical & theoretical experience in the subject matter. They are great teachers and made the concepts very approachable. Having support during class but also on Slack provides all of the group and 1:1 needed. BrainStation campus staff guided me along a learning path which fit with my professional life and made it possible learn and grow. This has allowed me to move professionally in a direction which I could add value differently to my organization. I recommend BrainStation to all of my personal and professional relationships. I am very supportive of this innovative environment that helps lifelong learning in a non traditional role.

HORRIBLE customer service. I've been sending emails and calls regarding my refund, NO ONE ANSWERED. It's been two weeks. When I sent an email about the course, I got a phone call the same day or the next day. It's clear they are ignoring my emails. I won't go back to Brainstation NEVER. Answer my email ASAP.

I've always had an interest in website design and development, and I've had the opportunity to develop basic skills in my career. However, our tech needs had become greater and I knew I needed some more hands-on education, but with a full-time job, it was difficult to find the right kind of training. BrainStation was the best decision I ever made. Their part-time program made it easy to attend the classes after work once a week, and their support was incredible throughout the whole process. Each week felt very intense, and we learned a lot despite it being a part-time program - way more than just the basic skills. It was hard to believe that by the end of 10 weeks I was able to code a full website from scratch, but I did and loved every minute of it! The instructor was amazing - he was clearly experienced in both the subject matter and how to teach, and made every topic feel approachable. He intuitively seemed to understand what concepts the class needed more time on, and was able to be flexible, sometimes introducing concepts typically outside the scope of the course when we seemed ready to try a more advanced topic. Having support not just during class but also available online in between classes made it feel like we had way more class time than we actually did. The campus was located in the heart of the Toronto tech scene, so it felt like there were constant references to real-world examples of what companies were doing right down the street, which was super cool. BrainStation also made it really easy to find a way to not only find a class to fit with my busy work schedule, but also the scholarship opportunities made it possible for me to attend and learn a new school that may have otherwise been out of reach. I truly can't recommend BrainStation enough - I'm confident that any class you took there would result in a new skill set you can be sure to use in the tech industry today!

I had used Brainstation's website to book a callback regarding their Web Developer coding bootcamp. Every time I scheduled a call, someone by the name of A Hill would cancel it. I scheduled multiple callback's a day and each time A Hill would cancel it. It's almost impossible to talk to someone at Brainstation. I completed the admissions requirement and within 15 minutes I received an email stating that I would not be enrolled. I guess they were tired of seeing my name come up for a callback multiple times. Not very professional since they charge $15k for their bootcamps. I guess they do not want my $15k. I will invest my money in the stock market or crypto and take a Full stack course on Udemy for less than $30.

There is a very kind lady name Linda Ly and she she was very helpful. She shared a lot of information about courses that I needed to know and also she answered all my questions that I had with lots of knowledge. I highly recommend asking for her assistance as she is very helpful and kind. 11/10 rating. Won't be disappointed.

I took the data analytic course years ago. It was basically just a Ted Talk - (did you know NETFLIX uses data? Etc.) There was no technical training with any tool at all. At one point the instructor said "Data science is all about asking questions" and I asked "What kind of questions?" And he goes "That's a great question, I'll have to get back to you" and he didn't. I really regret not getting a refund at the time, but you live and you learn.

I had a terrible experience with this company. The reps that call you are extremely pushy. I enrolled in the Digital Marketing course. The teachers said right on the first call that it wasn't the best option for entrepreneurs and that we could ask for a refund right after the first class. So I did this, waited weeks for a response. Finally got in contact and the lady said if it was in writing I could terminate, so I did. Waited for another response, never got one and now I am still being charged for a class I am not in. If anyone has someone I can contact that will actually respond from this company that would be great.
