I have been attending bragg creek vet for over 3 years, this is hands down the most exceptional care team in the calgary and I wager alberta and beyond. I'll start by saying I have worked for over 15 years in military and law enforcment k9/working dog world. I've dealt with many vets over the years and the Bragg creek team is outstanding. Working dogs are a handful, my personal working dog has severe stranger danger and is 100lbs of reactive when it comes to vets, Dr. Fick has been one of the few vets who has gone out of her way to ensure he has received the best treatment with the least amount of stress, and has amazing bedside manner for both my dog and myself ( I am usually harder to deal with, as when my dog needs help I get over emotional and anxious because I know he can be hard to deal with) This team has always gone above and beyond with their care and follow up, they have worked late, made accommodations and done video follow ups to ensure my dog stays healthy, happy and I stay sane. Dr. Fick has always gone out of her way to follow up after the fact and ensure that we know exactly what needs to be done to ensure a smooth recovery. Aftercare at this clinic is excellent. This is a small clinic with staff who work tirelessly and while it can be tough when they are on well deserved holidays or when emergencies occur after hours or on days the clinic is closed , that is what emergency vets are availible for. I will continue to use Bragg creek vet, and tell everyone about this amazing hidden gem because I beleive that this clinic provides a gold standard of care for both pets and their hoomans. Truly the most amazing team.

My wonderful dog Stone, at a very young age, starting exhibiting symptoms of nausea and vomiting and extreme diarrhea, with blood in both. I visited a Veterinary Clinic in Calgary, well known and recommended, and they diagnosed pancreatitis. They were thorough and I appreciated it, however, even with the prescribed care and medicines, my dog still had recurring symptoms. I then approached Dr. Fick at the Bragg Creek Animal Hospital who took x-rays and diagnosed a case of hiatal hernia. With the proper diagnosis, excellent post-care instructions, and the appropriate medications, my Stone has thrived for 9 years. He still has incidents when he eats inappropriate foods (he’s a bit of a garbage hound despite strict surveillance) and Dr. Fick and her assistants have been exemplary in their care, concern, and professional services. Most importantly, they assisted me as a caring owner to understand that as long as I followed their recommendations as a Canine’s Mother, I was doing all that I possibly could to maintain a healthy environment for my Stone. As well, their fees are very reasonable for the level of professional services provided. I would highly recommend this Clinic for anyone who wants to receive a genuinely friendly environment that shows professional integrity, quality, and care for their beloved pet. A
