★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT: Dropped down to 3* - consistency just isn't there. It's really hit or miss on the quality of the meat when you go there.
My go-to takeout spot in the neighborhood.
Service is usually pretty quick and efficient and the portions are very reasonable for the price.
If you're ordering a plate, definitely get the vegetarian plate and add your meat of choice (chicken is usually fresher and better than the beef). You get a nice variety of vegetarian food (omelette, eggplant, falafel, stewed chickpeas) in addition to the rice and potatoes, plus a nice variety of salads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boustan is Boustan. No nonsense middle eastern food. Generous helpings and an extensive choice. There is something for every palette.
The online ordering process is somewhat disappointing. Don’t believe the lure of leaving your vehicle make and Color in a message box with the promise of a touch less curb side delivery. Two different locations. Two disappointing experiences.
Consider the curb side pickup nonexistent. At least at the Crescent St location and the NDG location. Factor that into your decision making process if you require curb side pickup.
Otherwise, the staff at the NDG location are always pleasant. Andy I have yet to experience a fouled up order. Always a concern with takeout orders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food but if you order online don't schedule a later time. I watched the delivery driver sit in his car for 10 minutes before he came to my door. If it's ready it's ready don't let my food get cold. Also payed for extra garlic sauce which I did not receive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible quality control. Hands down the worst Boustan in Montreal. There’s always a problem. Burnt meat, chewy beef, incorrect items, not following special instructions, ignoring part of the instructions or forgetting it. Even the Boustan that are not as busy are better which makes no sense. The food should be fresh if you’re busy… Look at the type of meat they give you I attached a picture. If it wasn’t for the fact they’re the only Boustan open at night I’d never order from here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved ordering the vegan options there….but our order today was covered in small pieces of chicken. Please use clean or different utensils when serving vegan plates. I could not eat my plate at all. The picture was just what was on the top of my plate. It was a huge disappointment :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of all the Boustan franchises I've been to (THE original on Crescent is the OG), this the best one hands down!! Food always fresh and tasty. The guys are professional (and cute ?), very efficient and handle the food with the utmost hygiene. That's very important for me! I've been to other franchises where people are making your sandwich and using their hands to put filling in (though gloved) and using the same gloves to handle markers to write stuff on bags then continue handling your food ?! Keep up the good work guys!!
