I was here for 3 years without an issue. Sadly the amazing owner sold the business recently and the new owner, despite a Boondocks receipt which shows proof of purchase for 1 year (end of November 2020-2021) is telling me my contract is now expired and access denied. He Didn’t budge on his position despite providing my payment receipt, saying his β€œsystem” says September. (Which is when I started the month to month rental, but transitioned to yearly payment November last year). He proceeded to get all worked up when I said β€œI don’t know what part of this you don’t understand”. He thought it would then be a good idea to corollate my statement to my employment which is listed on my rental agreement. He refused to tell me his name when I asked. Unbelievably unprofessional and doesn’t understand β€œdates” or how to read Boondocks issued receipts. Outta here. Good luck.

This facility was incredible when we started with them in 2019. It appears the business was sold sometime in 2021 but we never got any notice about it. We pay annually and when our family moved, we took our trailer with us as our new property has space for it so I called mid-Sept to tell them and cancel the remaining 8 months. The guy who answered told me to text him my name and then hung up. I did as requested and asked how we can get the keycard back to him and refund for the unused months. He has never responded. I’ve called multiple times, texted again multiple times and emailed. His phone now just goes straight to VM which is full and texts no longer send as iMessages so I suspect he shut the phone off and thinks ignoring us will make us just go away and not harass him to refund us for the 8 months we have prepaid for. STAY FAR AWAY now that it has this terrible scammy owner.

2022-would no longer recommend. Ownership was bought out, new management raised prices without notifying us. No one was ever on site to be able to talk to. And cancelling was a pain to get a hold of anyone and either unprofessional or left to one poor guy who is managing many lots in Airdrie/Crossfield. 2021-update for a total lack of enforcement for units parking properly is making it harder and harder to maneuver. 2020-Easy access, secure but 24-hr key card access - however I have a beef that you literally have to get out of your truck to open the gate! The panel is on the passenger side (WHYYYY?!) and it has dirt mounded around it so you can’t get close enough to reach even if you have a passenger. Signage is also poor, their name is in one small spot on the office at the entrance, otherwise it’s all generic. β€œDo I have the right storage lot? I don’t know.” All That being said though, the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to check every detail for you, and it’s very affordable with price breaks for paying up front. A little muddy when wet (not a surprise) and some lanes are tighter than others but nice wide stalls.

I gave 1 star only because 0 wasn't available! We were one of the originals in this yard and never experienced ANY problems for years, until it came under new Management/Ownership & Donna left. *Original Management/Ownership would get a 5 star, which by the looks of the reviews is where the higher ratings came from. We were on an annual plan from the beginning, which automatically renewed each yr. Then this year (without being informed) I was changed to a monthly rental, where I end up paying more. This I was told happened due to a clerical error. When I asked for those months to be credited & I would payout the balance for the year owed, I was told that can't be done. I would have to start the years agreement from the last month paid. Then when I went to do that, I was told it would cost over $300 more now!!! Originally I rented a larger spot so I could store multiple items on it & there was no issue. But now the new management is charging by the item, so beware if your contract is coming due!!! Contract changes like this are normally given advance notice, not because the Customer realizes something is wrong with the billing! Very unprofessional business practices and unreasonable . No customer service ! Not willing to do anything to rectify the problem! You're wise to STAY CLEAR! There are other Storage facilities around in the area that offered me much better pricing for my storage requirements and are very accommodating!
