★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bonsai Bagels is a new and I'll say that they are the only bagel bakery in Vernon. They are run by a charming husband and wife team. They are making sesame seed "Montreal style" bagels and they are pretty good! I've gone the last 2 weeks in a row to get them. Go early because they usually sell out!! I had my bagels with lactose free cream cheese and smoked salmon!!

Freshly baked every morning. These are miles,or kilometres, ahead of Great Canadian bagels or Bagel Lane bagels. (Both places closed down ages ago.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed Bonsai bagels for the first time today, excellent!! Owner was very friendly and can’t wait to try the made in house hummus, it was sold out at the end of the day when I arrived. Also will be excited to have the Montreal smoked meat when it is added to the menu. I live in Vancouver but visit Vernon often , will make this a regular stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Woke up early Saturday while the fam slept and picked up a dozen bonsai bagels to surprise and delight my peeps with? the space is cozy and feels rich in love and passion and family first energy…the exact right way to start the weekend!!
The bagels are brilliantly delicious, and you can taste that they are made with intention and mindfulness. Thanks for the kick start to our weekend adventures and menu!! We were too stoked on eating them to take pics, but I promise that I will upload photos of our creations next time!!
