★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not from Vernon, and I didn't know what I was walking into when I walked up to this gorgeous old house in a residential-ish area, but I was absolutely wowed. A Twist of Yarn is beautiful, incredibly well-stocked shop, with helpful and friendly service. I'm a knitter and crocheter, and learning how to spin and weave, and I often have a really hard time finding materials for those last two crafts. I found everything I needed here, and anything I couldn't find, they would order in for me. I really can't speak highly enough about this shop. I'll come back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice shop with helpful staff. Nice selection of wools with range of prices. Local hand dyed choices available. Have a shopper reward program which is good if you shop more frequently than my one vacation visit every 3 years. I will go back again if its still around for my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this little wool shop! I was visiting from Ontario over the holidays and found some gorgeous, hand dyed, 100% Merino wool. I will definitely be back the next time I come to Vernon and may even order some supplies online in the meantime. The owner/staff was lovely and very pleasant to deal with. Here is a pic of the hat I finished with the Lotus Blossom flower, made with the yarn I purchased in this store. All the best to them in 2022!!
