β β β β β The more often I attend the Centre the more I appreciate it. The teachers, including the wise and humorous monk Gen Kelsang Zopa, provide practical wisdom for us everyday people, helping us deal with the challenges and difficulties we face and pointing the way to finding some peace and happiness regardless of our difficulties. It's great that the Centre offers classes in many locations in the greater Victoria area (check the calendar on the website).

β β β β β I've been a member of the Centre for several years now, initially attending classes to help with anxiety/stress. Meditation and the teachings I've learned here have helped with those and just about every aspect of my life - health, relationships, work & money, "life purpose." This is truly a special place in Victoria that offers refuge from all the "stuff" life throws at you. <3

β β β β β I have been a member of this centre for many years and highly recommend coming in. If you're interested in learning how to meditate or learning about Buddhism, this is the place. There are many opportunities depending on interest and time commitment ranging from short beginners meditation to in depth study. Highly recommended for those seeking happiness in their lives!

When I investigated the teachings at the Bodhichitta Buddhist Centre, I found that loving kindness towards all, employed along with a foundation of depthful wisdom is central to this path. The positivity generated by this approach to our interactions with others and the respect that arises for the teachings of Buddha as presented with great clarity by the teachers of this tradition reverberate in beneficial ways throughout my life and relationships.

β β β β β I first came to Bodhichitta Buddhist Centre almost a year ago. In that time I have learnt so much about meditation and Buddhism. I have found the teachings insightful and very meaningful. All the Centre's teachers and meditation leaders offer extensive experience in meditation and Buddhist practice. Meditation has made such a difference to my personal experience. I am very fortunate to have encountered Bodhichitta Meditation Centre.

β β β β β I am a member of this Centre. I find I benefit greatly from the Buddhist wisdom and meditation techniques taught and shared here. There are a lot of drop-in classes to choose from each week as well as "free" guided meditations. I really enjoy the Day Courses and the Weekend Retreats as well. And they also have chanted prayers and empowerments. The web site is pretty comprehensive. I also like the way they have their Buddha's displayed on the shrines and the friendliness and helpfulness of the other members and the people who attend.

β β β β β Several years ago, I decided I wanted to learn to meditate. I walked into one of the Bodhichitta Buddhist Centre meditation classes. I was so impressed with how practical and helpful the teaching was - and how good it felt to begin meditating. I decided to go back the next week for sure - and have never stopped going. I am so much more peaceful. We are so fortunate to have to have a Centre that offers many different opportunities to develop a calm, happy mind - a mind we can use all the time in every area of our life.
