About Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes & Beers

Inspired by the legendary fries on the world famous Ocean City Boardwalk and founded in 1981 by brothers Dave and Fran DiFerdinando, Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes invokes memories of summertime on the Boardwalk. Dave and Fran, like many other vacationers, had vacationed there as children and would come every summer to enjoy the rides and the legendary fries. They had the idea to make those famous fries accessible to everyone around the country, not just those at the beach, so they began Boardwalk Fries. We still prepare fries in the same great way – a special recipe and lightly salted – piping hot and made to order.

Soon after we created the world’s best fries, customers started asking for new menu items so we added an enhanced selection with only the best ingredients – fresh, never frozen hand-made burgers, creamy Canadian dairy shakes, sweet potato fries, poutine, veggie burgers, chicken options and so much more! And… Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes was born!

Considering the price of a quarter pounder these days, I'd say thats very reasonable. While I am more than happy to wait for good food, my burger did take longer than expected, around 15 minutes, but was definitely hot off the grill. My girlfriend had chicken fingers with fries and gravy and the gravy was steaming it was so hot. The only real thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the mushrooms on my burger were not seasoned, but surely cooked in house. Any explanation I come up with for this leads me to dark places which my psychiatrist says I should avoid so I will do just that.

The staff are dedicated and always give services with a smile and there’s just something about freshly made food rather than something off the heat rack. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve ate most of what’s on the menu.

Not to mention we didn’t receive the right order. There were two families sitting in there dining. There is absolutely no reason why it should take longer for a “fast food” chain to make a couple burgers than actually sitting down in a restaurant, ordering appies, and meals. The burgers are amazing so this is a shame as we live so close but will not be coming back.

Upon receiving the order we discovered 2 very small chicken strips when there should have been 4 and no sauce or gravy that was requested. The fact that it took almost an hour to prepare the order and to not even get what I ordered…won’t order again!

As i finished reading the history and conception of the restaurant on the business wall i was excited to try the chipotle burger and small fries i ordered.... Burger was beyond bland, the tomatoes were literally white and in general i just wasted my $8.50 on a burger... Fries weren't crispy and also under seasoned. Seemingly unhappy staff, got my change wrong 4 times. Sorry not coming back

The burger patty did not have any particular flavour, and even though I paid extra for add on bacon, there was no bacon on my burger. Will not order again from this place. Also, the meal was cold by the time it arrived, even though we live pretty close.
