also, 2 hour wait times if you want to call their help line.

β β β β β This branch has very poor customer service. We ordered some foreign currency for a wedding present. We were told it would take four to seven days. After 10 days we went to pick it up and were told they did not have it and we were out of luck. They did have plenty of excuses, though. They even tried to put the blame onto us by saying we should have checked our account to see if the exchange had been withdrawn. What a sad and pathetic display. Thanks for ruining, what would have been, a wonderful wedding gift.

β β β β β I made a small business banking appointment and the representative called me at the wrong number. I asked to reschedule and they say 'yes' without providing a date and time, and then went on holidays without passing on my file.

β β β β β Very poor customer service. The teller was rude AND made a payment to the wrong account when I had the paper statement in hand. There is a reason I stopped banking here...
Update: Once again, reason why BMO is NOT my primary bank... the "BMO Digital Care Team" can't even use their response templates properly " Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your recent branch experience, (name). "... what a joke!

β β β β β BMO funds and invests billions of dollars every year in fossil fuels contributing to global warming. They help fund the destruction of our futures. Other banks are doing significantly more to lessen their impact, so why bank with BMO? Consider switching to an alternative (credit union or other bank), until BMO takes actions to divest.

β β β β β I wanted to print a whole year bank statements in BMO for accounting purpose, one of the teller told me they need to charge me $5.00 for each statement and the statements wouldnβt be provided until next Tuesday ( today is Friday). The reason is - cause it waste my time to help you ( different words but same meaning). I have account in RBC and Island Savings, I thought it was just a simple and reasonable request for clients. But obviously not in BMO! If there is possible to rate at ZERO, I will definitely do it!
