★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid the staff is incompetent, can’t help I waste my time asking for details for my bank account and they have me the wrong info even though I told her and every employee says something different every time very inconsistent and they just say sorry even though they screw you up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally impossible to reach via phone. Every single option takes you to their call center. Problem is instead of mailing your card to your address, they hold it hostage but don't tell you when they have it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scotiabank closed their doors in my wife's face this evening after having a number of issues with both Scotiabank and Scotiabank Visa. She was going in to try to rectify what should have been an elementary issue after customer service was of no use to her. It was 430pm in the afternoon on a business day. I think there are a lot of other banks or credit unions that would be worthy of a customer's business. She will be leaving this bank next week. Scotiabank does not value their customers in my opinion.
