One of the worst branch locations I have been to. Staff are very unfriendly (except for the security guy at the door) - borderline rude. It's like you're there wasting their time. Once I had a meeting with a financial advisor who complained about the "riff raff" at their older location (on E Pender). Quite uncaring.

Without a doubt the rudest, most unhelpful bank staff it has been my misfortune to encounter in 58 years. It is like they're going out of their way to make banking difficult. Phony smiles, and phony attempts to help. Terrible.

My bank account got hacked. This particular branch tried to suggest I return on the following Monday (it was a Saturday) I waited for almost an hour to get to the teller and she was rude and not helpful or empathetic at all. The BMO on Hastings and Kamloops were much more helpful and comforting and helped get my stolen money back.

I swear of all our years as being clients of this bank this branch by FAR, takes the cake as being THEE crappiest bank ever!!! All around from tellers to Manager!! We've had to deal with every branch in the Lower Mainland area!! They were all just plain rude, not helpful and kinda petty!!! Definitely gives BOM a bad name I told my spouse I wanted to switch banks asap!! Now it's left up to me to find a better bank as my husband dreadfully passed recently!! :'(

I have mixed feeling about this location. Very good customer service, they care for you. Need large amount of cash, inform them 3 days prior to your need. Cheque verification, wire transfers, you name it. They do it very well. What I don't like is wait time. There are only 3-4 tellers and only 2-3 works at any given moment. Most ridiculous thing. The ATM usually breakdown and they have perception that it's your problem.? Although the branch is very good. People who are there are genuine to help you but they are lacking people.

Worst bank experience ever. Went in to get advice on my BOM(my spelling of this place) Nesbitt Burns account as I had come into some considerable wealth. All I wanted was to speak with a wealth management advisor for a little rundown of their own Gateway website which is a bit confusing. The fellow behind the counter kept asking me questions that weren't relevant to what I was seeking. I strongly felt he was asking me those questions to deter me from seeing anybody. He had this blank stare in his eyes and a posture that was clearly showing me he wasn't going to help. I was so frustrated I walked out and he just said "ok". Like Mr. Seymour stated they're only in it for the $ and won't give any advice. Negative 5 stars. If this is their standard then I might take my business elsewhere.

Rude, impatient, unhelpful, unknowledgeable, does not listen, and does not care. Complete waste of time just to get help for a simple issue which became pointless in even trying. Should learn customer service from other banks.

Been with this branch over 30 yrs and most staff do the best they can and do there best to help! It's of course a bad area and thus being said they get bad shady customers atimes. I see it being a stressful job dealing with rude customers being a bank Teller.
