Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommend as an alternative to the big box stores.

Their meat section has a great selection, lots of bulk food selection, natural supplements/cleaning products/personal grooming. A great bakery for bread and other goodies; when they have brioche doughnuts in stock, they are unmissable. They have a deli as well with great pre-made meals and other usual deli products. They do refills on lots of products, including the kombucha that they make, so you can bring your own containers. Sign up with your phone number and you can accrue reward points at their locations, plus about once a month they do a customer appreciation day with 10% off regular price items. The prices are a bit more expensive than your Superstores and Safeways, but the store is a great way to support local food vendors and make your personal grocery supply chain more sustainable.

The expired date was for a month later, so I brought it back for a refund. I asked Lana for assistance and she was rude. When I showed her the mold, she said 'we don't make this and what we get is what we get'. She was unapologetic and angry. She picked up another cashew carrot dip and asked if I wanted this one instead, and I asked "do you mind if I just look to see if it's moldy as well as it's from the same batch. She responded with 'I can have you touching all of them'. Turns out, ALL of them had mold on them and she told me to go to the front to exchange it. Never have I been so embarrassed and made to feel unwelcome. I spend a lot of money to buy organic fresh produce, and if it's moldy, a kind exchange is warranted. LANA you are the worst sales rep or manager I've ever met.

Sure some things are a bit more, but there are hidden surprises like the quality cold cuts in the deli from local producer Valbella that are cheaper than any other supermarket in town. Staff are well versed and they have plenty of great local produce of all sorts.
