★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great short & steep hike just a few mins from Vernon. Spectacular views of Vernon and Lumby on a clear day. Trail is fairly well marked. Just a tad confusing since it's a bit of a figure 8 when you get to the junction if you're going to do both peaks. One peak looks out towards Vernon. The other peak looks over Lumby. The trail is a bit steep in some sections best not to do it on a wet or icy day. Signage near parking lot says to do trail in a clock-wise direction for a more gradual and switch back climb up to the first (Vernon lookout) peak. You can do it counter clockwise but it's a steeper climb up. Definitely worth the hike if you're in the Vernon area.
