Had an appointment with Lise the other day to get a full set of acrylics. She asked me during if she could clean up my cuticles, so I said yes. Little did I know it would cost $15 on top of the price of a full set. During my appointment, Lise would be on her phone answering calls and having conversations - I've never had a nail tech do this? It's been 4 days since my appointment and I already have lifting on two nails. This set cost me $115 in total, and it is completely not worth it. I was not made aware of a $15 charge for cleaning up my cuticles, until I had to ask for my receipt which after waiting 20 mins, they provided VERY reluctantly (seriously, they - three girls - had to call the manager who then had to email me a separate receipt because they wouldn't give me one when I asked). I have never paid this much for acrylics, and won't be going back as my experience was so bad, as was the quality.

**There are other salons that value their customers, it's not this one.** I have been using bling for nail services for a few years however recently I had enough. There's never been a time where my appointment started on time, my manicure appointments are always late! Even when I think I'm running late, they beat me at tardiness. During my last visit I waited over 25 minutes and that was the last straw so I ended up walking out. This is not the first time I had considered ending my visits here, I've been tempted before as their receptionist is extremely rude. I get that perhaps she is young and lacks life and work experience however they should recognize that this person is the face of their salon and should exude friendiness and professionalism. Even their message to me to apologize sounded inauthentic. Initially I've asked for a breakdown of my service and the receptionist always says she'll email it but never does, I stopped asking at a certain point. This leads me to think they are not transparent about their prices. I continued to come here due to the attention to detail from Amy however my last few visits the quality seems to have degraded. My nails would always be perfect in the past but she seemed rushed in recent visits. Writing this, I realized how patient I have been through these few years.. In reading through the reviews, it seems there are similar comments. Management needs to review the expectation of this salon, get rid of or train the receptionist and understand whether your customers are happy with their service.

It’s taken me way too long to write this review but I have been seeing Amy for almost 5 years because she’s truly just amazing at what she does!! She can do it all!! Any nail shape, bling, art, foil — you name it! My go-to has been French Acrylic Ombré for the last two years and I continuously get compliments on it. Amy truly does do a superb and spectacular job!! So thankful to have found Amy many years ago! ❤️

I got an acrylic set done by Maya just over a month ago and they're still perfect; no chips, no scratches, shape is good. Obviously they're grown out a lot, but considering how long they are it's impressive that they've managed to stay on and not break for this period of time. My job requires me to be typing all day and I'm definitely not gentle with my nails, but I haven't had a problem doing my everyday tasks with them and they're still in perfect shape regardless. Maya is very detail-oriented and her work is clean. I have a hard time finding people to do the shape that I like and eventually I just gave up because nobody could do it properly. Maya executed it perfectly with no instruction and I could tell she was very experienced. The only suggestion I would have is for this location to make more colour samples; it seemed like there was only one giant set that was being passed around among all of the clients in the room and it was kind of hard to take turns with it. However, that is minor and everything else was great so I would definitely recommend! Picture shows my nails right after getting them done by Maya.

I have been coming to Bling for years now and service has always been top notch. Try using the online booking system, its so easy and convenient. My nails never broke or peeled off (I get acrylics). Ask for Maya if you want the best and/or if you want nail design.

Terrible service and price. I booked at 2:30, arrived at 2:15 and told them I am here. While everyone else started , I needed to sit. It was already 2:40 and I felt so bad, so I told the reception girl that I just want to cancle, and she told me that I can start after other customer is finished. If I need to wait until other customer’s done , why do i need a BOOK? why do I need to waste time in here? Also, they should apologize to me for waiting if they cannot meet my reservation. Their service was terrible, I’ll never go this shop again . There are a lot of nail shops in Vancouver. If this shop want to put expensive price then others, they should be better. But they are not even good quality.

Bling is the BEST!! The nail techs/estheticians have always done an incredible job of my nails, whether it be gel polish, gel extensions, nail art or pedicures. The pedis are top notch. It’s the only place that can make my tough feet baby soft! Good prices for quality work every time! Amy is my first choice but I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone else there. They are all very talented!

I’ve been going to Bling for years now. However, staff has changed. The receptionist over the phone couldn’t understand a thing i was saying. I already had an appointment at a certain time and she booked me 2 new appointments later that day, who knows why. She couldn’t speak fluent English and had to pass the phone to someone else. It was a weekend and i completely understand that it gets busy but there’s no reason for nail techs to rush and not do a good job. I was told they couldn’t do what i wanted because it would take too long BUT my tech had the time to check her phone every 5 minutes and spent a good minute texting while i sat there awkwardly waiting. Eddie was a nice guy but took way too long on my friends nails. The marble design was an extra $20 and it was ugly. Her nails were not clean and left her cuticles messy. No effort. Receptionists are not welcoming at all. Very rude and the attitude needs to go. Bling used to be a good and safe place for me but it has changed a lot over the years. Never coming back.
