Great competitive prices on a wide selection of products with super friendly service is what puts this store a notch above the rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful, one of the cashiers there, the tall dark skinned one tried to scam me short of change twice. The first time I thought maybe it was just accidental; however, when it happens twice you know it is not.
His modus operandi is to show you that he is about to give you your change yet just before he does he asks whether you would want a bag. If you say yes, then he puts your purchases to the bag and hides some of the money that he owes you. Then he gives you your bag and only part of the money.

which Lotto BC does not approve. They’ve been reported them to Lotto Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is charging a surcharge to purchase Lotto Tickets when you use your debit card. I contacted Lotto BC and Lotto Canada, and stores are not permitted to charge or add ANY AMOUNT above the cost of the ticket purchase. No debit card charges are permitted on the purchase of Lotto tickets, just like you don't pay a surcharge if you pay for your Lotto tickets with cash.
Just a scam owner taking advantage of the challenged area residents. The store also rips off customers who may be mentally challenged, stoned, high on drugs and may not know to collect their change from the cashier. I've seen it more than once. The staff or owner pockets the cash. The staff member I spoke to said he gets paid in cash under the table without deductions - a violation of Canada Revenue Agency and WorkSafeBC. He's only been in Canada a short time. It's been reported.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely kind. I had an issue with the ATM, and the guy who owned the ATM basically told me to F off, after admitting what happened. The manager of the store and the owner fixed it for me at their own cost, which they didn’t have to do.
