About Black Rock Therapies
I was born in BC but moved to Red Deer area when I was 8 and it’s been my home ever since. My family and I have a Doberman that has taught us to love being outdoors, we all love hiking, walking and camping. We can also be found on any open water kayaking in the summer months.
Before we had our kids, I was an ophthalmic assistant. I’ve always had a passion for helping people get to their best health. After children, I decided to find a new skill that was more flexible for my family and I and that is when I discovered a new passion in Massage Therapy.
I graduated from Alberta Institute of Massage in May of 2020 and have been practicing in a clinic setting since March 2019.
What makes me especially passionate about my job is seeing measurable differences in my clients healing, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing people finding new balance and happiness in their lives.
I would consider myself a specialist in deeper tissue treatments, as well as therapeutic, prenatal, and sports massage. I am eager to start learning new modalities in the coming months.
I started working with Black Rock Therapies in June of 2020 and have quickly found the excitement in being part of a team who enjoys trading skills and learning from each other. We have an amazing opportunity to learn from many different specialists in all sorts of modalities so we can better serve our clients everyday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been suffering from bad migraines and arthritis in both knees. My physio therapist suggest I try Black Rock Therapies to see if they could help minimize the pain. Best decision I have made. My weather migraines have been non-existent for the most part and the massages have help my knees be more mobile. Physio helped to a degree but the massages are a god sent. The staff is great, and Blake listens to my needs. They are awesome!

Overall I had a great massage, I felt relaxed but also got all the knots worked out. I will definitely be booking in to see her again!! :)

When meeting my RMT Blake, he created a comfortable and professional atmosphere and the massage was fantastic. Suffering from chronic pain, I do not expect to walk out cured, but feeling better than when I walked in made for an excellent experience. I will return.

Each therapist has a slightly different style, and the results are always excellent. A treatment is always available to match my schedule, because I'm not choosey of who I get. The experience is delightful and I look forward to each session.

My migraine and scoliosis issues cause me less pain for several days after I see her for massage and cupping. Erin is incredibly kind, easy to talk to during services, and I feel safe and welcome on her massage table.

I really enjoyed seeing Raven, she was able to work my problem areas really well, I was able to have way more mobility in my body than when I walked in. Everyone here is professional and is skilled differently! I would definitely recommend coming here for your services.

Rachel is also amazing to see as well! She was easy to get along with and great to make conversation with! She made me feel comfortable. My massage was great. I would love to see her again as well.
