β β β β β I got a tattoo done at Black Market Calgary trail July 2020, the artist that I had was very professional & did a wonderful job on my piece! Fast forward to today ( Jan 23 2021 ) I tried to call in to the shop to see if they keep record of who I had as I don't remember her name, the man on the other end of the phone said they do keep track of who has what client but " it would take a lot of effort " for him to do that, I said I would appreciate if he could as I am trying to book in with that same artist, he flat out told me he was not going to do that for me, and that no one employed by black market would.. seems odd that they don't want the bookings at their studio? especially after being locked down for 6 + weeks. He was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately I will not be returning to black market because of this experience, I was trying to book in for matching tattoos with 5 of my sisters, we will be taking our money & business to a shop that appreciates it!

β β β β β So happy with my new tattoos. Kenzie did an amazing job with my new tattoos and touching up a very old one.
She is very friendly and accommodating.
Took the photos I gave her and changed them how I wanted them. The shop is very clean. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They use good quality ink. Will return for more. :)

β β β β β Once you open the shop's door, you will find friendly environment inside. When you talk to them, you'll feel comfort. You'll know instantly you have met the tattoo expert when you see the result. Yes, you are in the good hand. Huge thanks to Shawn for making the tattoo way better than the real picture.

β β β β β I recently had a full sleeve done by Luke. Not my first tattoo, but my first at Black Market. Luke took the general idea I gave him and turned it into a fantastic piece. These days with tattoo shops seemingly everywhere this shop and the work done by it's artists stands out. Up until now I've never had more than one tattoo done at the same shop, or by the same artist. My tattoo with Luke has changed that and I'd get another done at Black Market by him without a second thought. Thanks for the time and effort put into giving me a great tattoo Luke.

β β β β β Loved my tattoos by Lucy. I wasn't able to do a walk in but she booked me in for just a few days later. Great atmosphere and a reasonable rate. Definitely appreciated that it is not cash only. Will be back for future tattoos for sure

Clean shop, I will definitely be back. Both of my experiences have been amazing at the shops. Been recommended to Black Market from my family and friends. Very happy with their work! I recommend them to anyone...
