Both me and my sister have gotten the privilege of being tattooed by both artists Josh and Frank. They were professional, made us feel comfortable and didn't hesitate to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a high quality tattoo and a great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and I went to Frank to get matching tattoos in honour of my father and he did an amazing job! My daughter also wanted another tattoo and Frank designed it perfectly. The shop was clean, Frank was professional and he is extremely talented. We will be going back for our next tattoos for sure. Highly recommend Against the Grain Tattoos!

My tattoo with Andrew was awesome. Think I finally found my go-to place. Highly recommend these guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just got my first and only tattoo at age 51. On the advice of a friend, I went to see Josh at Against the Grain Tattoo. To say that I was nervous would be an understatement. Now I know that I had absolutely no reason to be nervous. What an *awesome* experience! This is a great shop with a super relaxed, fun, friendly vibe. Josh instantly put me at ease and was nice, patient with all my questions, and very skilled (I felt mild discomfort at best). In fact, I had so much fun hanging out with Josh and his colleague Frank I almost forgot to check the tattoo before I left! Ha ha. I LOVE my tattoo so much! Can't recommend them highly enough.

I have sensitive skin and he was able to work around that. So proud of it and the experience was memorable. Super comfortable setting. Ultra clean. If he does one, you will want him to do all of your tattoos.
