β β β β β Successfully won two metal chairs and one patio table set with cushions. Upon pick up this morning, I discovered that both chairs were covered in rust and the cushions were filthy. On my way home, I stopped by a metal reycling plant in Langley and dropped the chairs off. The plant was very kind to me and also disposed of the chair cushions and ragged plastic table and legs into their waste container. These items should never have been accepted by the auction house for resale. As the warehouse is closed for item viewing there is no other way to look at what you are purchasing due to the Covid -19 pandemic and the online photos are not close-ups, they were taken from a distance. Only spent $12.88 at Big Valley Auctions but I might as well have taken the money and thrown it in the trash. Until such a time as the warehouse opens the doors again for viewing, beware, what you purchase it not always as it appears on the web photos and you may be very disappointed as I was today.

β β β β β Money hungry. Even during covid times. They have zero compassion for things going on in life. I bid on weds. Was going to pick up Friday (well within in time frame) woke up Friday morning to the news my mom has cancer. So obviously would be having a hard day helping her and dealing with it. What great news do I get from big valley on sat. They are open sat. NO EXCEPTIONS. I lose the item i won, and they fee me. Great customer service here guys. Bunch of heartless capitalists that sell junk anyways.

β β β β β Horrible women to deal with - no apology for missing items we brought in. Numerous times I have paid high dollar for items that don't even work. Also
take terrible photos of your products, and then they end up selling for next to nothing.

β β β β β Very friendly, and always fun to sift through and find some great stuff. Can find amazing deals on mattresses, $200 for a 3500 mattress? not bad. Good furniture selection often. As to the complaints with some electronics, keep in mind, they have ac plug outlets, and they encourage you to test things. Many of the above complaints would have been solved if they had of asked to test it or just grabbed it and plugged it in. Go nearly weekly, really enjoy it.

β β β β β we sent a huge collection of model trains to this company 4 yrs ago to auction off. After several tries to contact them by both phone and email over a 4 year time span to see what was happening with this collection as it was worth close to $300,000.00. we went to them to see what they had done with it and we were told they hadn't yet even looked at it. This was very disappointing as they said they could sell it fast when we took it to them.
If I were a seller I would choose any other auction house if you want your stuff sold in a timely manner.

β β β β β They use terrible stickers for labeling, get stuck and leave marks on the item.
This was ehat was beneath the label . Conveniently the other label had no mark under it .
So in the photos they deliberately hid a large mark on the item to go unnoticed.
Shady shady auction house.
Trying to say its because of the label .. the other label didn't leave a mark . This was here before . Label placed over top of the scratch.

β β β β β Be careful! I bought a large woodworker's plane without going to the preview and was going by their on line photos only. Turned out the plane was broken and unusable, but they had deliberately concealed the break in their photos. Be very careful!
(Later, in replyto Big Valley) See photos below. Gee, I guess they didn't see that when they took the pictures. Accidental oversight, my a**!
