About Big Al's Texturing

Alex started ceiling work back in 1988 and has been improving his skills ever since. Alex started as a rookie on a truck and gradually increased his employees and trucks as the years passed.

Big Al’s Texturing started out of Alex’s personal home in 2001 and now is operating out of a large commercial facility. Alex has been active in all texture roles over the past 24 years, including Technician, Supervisor, Estimator and General Manager, all the while keeping his businesses a family-oriented atmosphere.

Alex continues to oversee all aspects of his businesses and will actively work with and support his teams at all times. Alex is a proud father and grandfather and enjoys golfing, fishing and entertaining guests whenever possible.

G	Geoffrey Olsen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week I had the good fortune of having the Big Al’s crew come in to take down the existing stipple ceiling, repair, tape, plaster, the ceiling and one wall. I live in a single level home with a finished walk-out downstairs. It also had Poly B piping until a few months ago. I left the downstairs with a number of holes in the ceiling and a wall, until I researched who I wanted in to redo my ceilings. My choice was Big Al’s because of their reputation and I am glad I did. They started with a walk through explaining exactly what they would do and how long it would take. Asked me to give them two things - a bare room with no light fixtures. The first day of work Chris came in and explained how the system worked with different crews doing different jobs. I have never seen a better bunch of guys work so well together in all the different jobs I have been involved with in my forty seven years of working. It is easy to see why the end product is so excellent. Well Done! Geoffrey

It kept coming up with people viewing the property and I was fortunate enough to have Big Al's come into repair it and refinish it properly. Cam did an absolutely incredible job and I could not be happier with it. There were four large areas to be repaired and the ceilings are 25 years old so I had no expectations for a perfect blend, but somehow or another he managed to do such a great job that no one can even tell that there were repairs there. Thank you so much!!

They are 2 of the greatest guys and go above and beyond expectations and everything has to be perfect before they leave. They also came back on a Sunday to do another repair for us outside our house because we couldn’t get anyone else to come do it. They are exceptional employees and will refer your company to others that need work done. Great job guys.

(Interesting how even though I gave him a 1 star it comes up as 4.5 stars) I do not recommend him and this is why. A couple years back we had skylights installed. The tape at the top below the window and a section of the roof where the beam goes across started to crack and separate. Called Big Al, he was too busy to come take a look and said it was the window installers fault. Called the window installer who came over and said it is definitely the Drywaller error putting the wrong material trim in place. Then I called an independent Drywaller who agreed with the window installer. Beware....

One guy just showed up and screwed up the walls by splashing the muds everywhere. The worst part was leaving few mud spots on my door way behind. I emailed and called them few time to complain regarding this issue. No correcting action was taken since two months ago. It’s really hard to remove the mud form concrete path!

I wouldn’t spend much time looking around for someone else to do your textured ceiling. Big Als is the best and the price is good too.

The entire Big Al's team was on-schedule start to finish. In fact, they finished one day ahead of schedule. While a project like our can be rather dusty, our home was left as clean as could be expected. We, honestly, cannot think of any criticism and we highly recommend Big Al's if you are looking to refinish your ceilings.
