★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee and pastry used to be great but lately it's been disappointing. Gave it 3 or 4 chances but this morning was the last. Two stale pastries and coffees that weren't filled anywhere near the top (1.5 inches of a gap)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have loved Beyond Bread for a long time but it seems to have gone down hill recently. The last 3 or 4 coffees that I have gotten haven't been up to their normal standards and a recent hot chocolate that I had there was basically warm milk with no chocolate flavour...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to put some bread on hold-they advised they take orders on their website, but as first time trying them, would hold a loaf and some bagels. Thanks! Bought the Peasant loaf with whole wheat as wanted a break from all the recent sourdough loaves from other bakeries. Also got bagels-on that Sunday they had a 6 for 5 deal. *This bakery will slice the bread for you.
The bread and bagels had great smell. The Peasant had a very nice whole wheat taste. They were on the lighter side of what I've eaten. I like both light and denser breads, but if you prefer denser, please call them to ask about their other breads. Check out their bread schedule on the website to make sure they have what you want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beyond Bread has temporary hours of 8 am to 3 pm for this COVID-19 period..essential precautions are very present thus providing a very safe environment.. this organic artisan bakery demonstrates quality and is baked fresh daily..when arriving you are greeted with authentic warmth..our croissants were amazing and the coffee was very tasty..this was our first time here and we now will be regulars !..so here we are again ready to indulge in this very special bakery..very inviting bread for tomorrow’s toast with plum jam !…so here we are on our Sunday stroll along 4th Avenue and we pitch up our pre-ordered European Style Peasant Loaf to make our breakfast toast a special treat..this artisan bakery is tops in our opinion…
